Our Favorite Online Workouts

Let’s face it: working out at home and by yourself can be a little…unmotivating. Our team has certainly experienced moments where trying to stay active at home feels hard without a little encouragement, especially when the comfort of your bed and couch is right at your feet. Luckily, since the pandemic began, we’ve found so many online workouts and trainers that have kept us more motivated to exercise at home. If you’re looking for a new workout, keep reading for 11 of our favorite trainers and workout programs to try below…


Godso’s workouts are available on Nike Training Club (NTC) Premium, which is now free for everyone in the U.S. since the pandemic began. Godso has a lot of equipment-free, HIIT workouts designed to work up a sweat. Her workouts are a great way to kickstart your week, and are great if you have 30 minutes or less to exercise.

Holder is another trainer on NTC Premium, and his workouts are free too. Holder’s workouts incorporate more weights and gym equipment, and usually follow a similar pattern, so they’re great if you’re looking for a workout that feels more like working with a trainer in the gym.



Jeanette Jenkins is a trainer and health coach with tons of workouts, meal plans, and more available on Hollywood Trainer Club. She also has a variety of low-impact options that are great for those of you that cannot do workouts that require a lot of jumping. A subscription starts at $20 a month.



For those of you that have Apple Fitness Plus or are looking to join the app, trainer Betina Gozo has a variety of workouts that require light weights to get your sweat on. Apple Fitness is free for one month, then is $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year.


5. SWEAT

SWEAT is a workout app that includes a lot of workouts—Pilates, yoga, HIIT—for you to try. They have different trainers that you can work out with, and can also help you decide which training stye might be right for you. Sweat is $19.99 a month.


If you’re looking for free online workouts, Pamela Reif has so many free Youtube workouts, anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, that you can do in the comfort of your home. A lot of her workouts are equipment-free, so no need to worry about acquiring any dumbbells.


Brittne Jackson of Brittnebabe has a variety of weights and bodyweight workouts to help maintain your fitness schedule at home. With her BrittCamp workouts and 21 Day Challenge, her workouts are a great way to stay motivated and strong. Britt’s subscription starts at $5 a month.


Whitney Simmons is a trainer that started her own app, Alive by Whitney Simmons, to help you maintain a workout schedule, no matter your fitness level or setting. With workouts for the gym, home, and all skill levels available, there’s certainly an option for you. Her subscription is $14.99 a month.


Check out Yoga with Adriene for free yoga workouts for every need or concern you may have. From back pain to breathing techniques, there are almost too many yoga videos to choose from on this channel.


If you’re looking for a holistic wellness experience, try The Underbelly Yoga. They teach yoga classes for all skill levels designed to help improve your yoga flow as well as your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing. After a two-week free trial, their subscription is $9.99 a month.


You don’t really need a Peloton bike for this one {any stationary bike will do}. The Peloton app also has HIIT, Pilates, yoga, bootcamps, and more for you to participate in. If you want to try their membership, you can get your first 30 days free. After that, their memberships start at $12.99 per month.
