Last Minute Gift Idea: Arts and Crafts Kit
In a perfect world, I’d make everyone on my list a homemade gift this holiday season. I love crafting and cooking, and the feeling of giving something that truly came from the heart. But as the working mother of a toddler, I simply don’t have the time to make every present by hand. With that in mind, I still wanted to give gifts that had a special personalized touch. I did a lot of gift boxes this season, where I curated a collection of items for each type of person in my life. For the crafty ladies on my list, I decided to put together these DIY arts and crafts kits. They look beautiful and are a great way to encourage creativity. They can also be completely customized with whatever craft you think the recipient would like best (and for any age). Check out three examples below…

Here’s what you will need:
- set of small watercolor or acrylic paints

DIY Cross Stitch Kit
Here’s what you will need:
- embroidery thread
- embroidery hoop
- cross stitch fabric
- needle (in a trinket dish or pin cushion)
- gift box and shred
