Capability quote from @stylishcreativebranding

1. Quote via @stylishcreativebranding
This was such a good reminder for me today. It’s easy to forget how capable we are when things get tough or life gets stressful, but we are strong! –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

2. ASOS New Look Block Heeled Sandal, $32
I’m jumping on the animal print bandwagon with this pick. I love how these fun sandals can dress up a monochromatic outfit, a little black dress, or even a casual pair of your favorite jeans. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

3. DIY Wes Anderson Guess Who Board Game by Lovely Indeed
Remember this fun game? This might be the most creative twist on a classic game I’ve seen. (The characters are also a downloadable file from Lovely Indeed, so no artistic skills required!) Aside from all that, it’s just downright adorable. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

4. West Elm Edge Frame, from $8
One of my goals for the New Year was to print more photos, which calls for more cute frames. I picked up a couple of these minimalist ash wood frames to spread out on different shelves on my living room bookcase. –Ilana, Managing Editor

5. The Immigrant Cookbook from The Little Market, $36
Not only does the food in this cookbook from The Little Market look amazing, but the story behind this project is incredible too. All the featured chefs are immigrants, and the dishes are meant to celebrate the diversity of American cuisine. Plus, a portion of every sale will benefit the ACLU, so it’s a purchase you can feel good about. Personally, I’m really excited to try the turmeric shrimp with curry leaves from chef Mei Chau—I have a feeling it’ll be on constant repeat. –Kiera, Editorial Assistant

6. Kristin Ess 3-in-1 Flat Iron, $80
I got this Kristin Ess Hair straightener a couple months ago, and after using it every single day since I can safely say that this is the best hair straightener ever! Not only does it look beautiful, but it straightens better than any other tool I’ve used. Plus, you can use it for create waves or curls which will last all day. I am obsessed! –Rachel, Managing Editor

7. H&M Jersey Jacket in Beige/Houndstooth, $34.99
I’ve been looking for a comfortable blazer that isn’t too boxy and I think I’ve found the perfect one! I hate it when jackets feel too snug or like I can ‘t bend my arms, so I was pleased when this jersey blazer from H&M fit well but didn’t restrict any movement. 10/10 would recommend! –Jessi, Senior Editor

8. Sara & Hero Bank Heist on America’s Got Talent
You guys… All I can say is, I wish my dog was this well-trained! My mother-in-law showed me this video and my jaw was on the floor the first time I saw it. This duo is so stinking cute. –Tessa, Associate Editor

9. LC Lauren Conrad Compote Women’s Mules, $30
I am not exaggerating when I say that I get numerous compliments every time I wear these mules. And then friends are shocked when I share that they only cost $30. They go with everything from dresses to jeans, and I’ve been wearing them nonstop. –Ilana, Managing Editor

10. Barbed Wire Heart by Tess Sharpe, $13.99
A while back I was really hooked on the show Justified, and this book by Tess Sharpe gave me similar vibes—only this time with a distinctly feminist tone. The story follows Harley McKenna, who was raised from an early age to one day take over her father’s expansive meth-cooking operation in rural Northern California. Harley has to navigate a business dominated by men who consistently underestimate her, and try to protect the vulnerable women in her community, all while guarding a dangerous secret. I could definitely see this being turned into a movie! –Kiera, Editorial Assistant
