Happy last day of 2018! We hope that everyone has some fun plans tonight for New Year’s Eve. If you’re looking for some last-minute inspo in the nails department, we have some sparkly manicures to share from our favorite L.A. nail salon, Olive & June. You’ve probably seen Olive & June manis all over Instagram, and today we’re sharing some tips behind the most festive nail looks on their feed. Keep scrolling for some major manicure inspo for New Year’s Eve and beyond, courtesy of Olive & June’s very fashionable founder, Sarah Gibson Tuttle

1. Channel your inner ice queen with silver glitter.

Sarah says, We do Instagram Lives every Sunday night where I do tutorials or paint my nails with friends who call in. It’s so fun! A few weeks ago, Lauren Davis joined me and painted this perfect party mani with Essie’s Venture to the Venue. It’s the perfect amount of sparkle!

2. Shine bright with stars and glitter.

Take it from Sarah: There’s no better way to shine than adding our Silver Metallic Star stickers to loose glitter.

3. Glitter ombre is a forever favorite.

Glitter ombre has been a favorite in the salons since Day 1, Sarah says. You can either start at the cuticle or start at the tip of your nail—either way is gorgeous.

4. Add an emoji-inspired accent nail.

Not every New Year’s nail look has to be full-on sparkle. Sarah says: When we first posted this mani, we were not expecting the amount of DM’s and comments that we got. It went wild! And pretty soon after, the black heart emoji was released. Coincidence?

5. Add stickers to a barely there base.

Take it from Sarah: We love a barely-there sheer color (this one is Chanel’s La Base), but couple that with the tiniest stars from our Gold Metallic Stars nail sticker pack and we’re in love. BTW, the stars are so easy: peel, stick, and topcoat. Voila! An Olive & June mani!
