So let’s get the (eye)ball rolling… You’ll see what we mean.
1. Mini Mummies DIY via Oh Happy Day
OK, how cute are these mummies? Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, but I admit I’m not a fan of the tacky decorations that come along with it. But who knew a few wooden mannequins and a little cheese cloth could become the cutest Halloween DIY… –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief
2. LC Lauren Conrad Eyelash Open-Front Cardigan, $50
This cardigan from my latest LC Lauren Conrad collection is my new favorite layering piece. I always wear it around the house, running errands, and everywhere in between. The super soft fabric easily makes it one of the comfiest sweaters in my closet. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief
3. DIY Mini Monster Eyeball Donuts via Sugar & Cloth
With Halloween just around the corner, I’ve been looking for some fun recipes to get in the holiday spirit. These mini eyeball donuts are just the right amount of spooky, and easy enough that even Liam can help. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief
4. Jouer Cosmetics Essential High Coverage Liquid Concealer, $22
This is my new favorite concealer. I used to use two different products for covering up under eye circles and blemishes, but this one pulls double duty. It goes on flawlessly and comes in 22 shades, so you can find your perfect match. –Ilana, Managing Editor
5. Steve Madden Brinkley Over the Knee Stretch Boots, $129.95
Over the knee boots are a classic fall staple in my book. I love pairing them with a dress and cardigan, or layering them over a good pair of skinny jeans. These Steve Madden boots are on the affordable side and I love that they stretch instead of tying in the back. –Jessi, Senior Editor
6. Chelsea King Nude Blush Crushed Velvet Scrunchie, $19.99
When it comes to ‘90s fashion trends that are back in style, the scrunchie is probably my favorite. I’m especially obsessed with Chelsea King’s scrunchies—they feel fancier than your average scrunchie, and they come in amazing colors and fabrics. I’m currently loving this nude blush one that comes in crushed velvet. It’s super soft, comfortable to wear, and makes my topknot look a lot more stylish. –Rachel, Managing Editor
7. Honest Beauty Younger + Clearer Night Serum with Honestly Pure Retinol, $49.77
I just added this little product to my nighttime regimen, and I was pleasantly surprised at how effective it is. In a matter of days my skin looked clearer, smoother, and my skintone more even over all. But be warned, this is potent stuff… daily use was a little too much exfoliating for my skin, but after some trial and error I found that a few times a week works like a charm. Just make sure to diligently wear sunscreen when using this product, because it contains retinol! –Tessa, Associate Editor
8. The Hate U Give Trailer
This movie has been at the top of my fall watch list since I finished the book, and I’m super excited to see it in theaters! It features a great cast with a lot of young actors, and tackles extremely timely social justice themes in ways that make you reexamine the privileges in your own life. –Kiera, Editorial Intern
9. The Little Market Moroccan Leather Bench, $148
I just bought this beautiful handcrafted bench from Lauren’s fair trade shop The Little Market, and I am in love! It could easily cost three times as much in an expensive home decor store. They are perfect for any room in the house, from an entryway or foyer to a bedroom or a kids room. Plus, each purchase empowers artisans in Morocco. (Hint: These benches sell out quickly, but add your email address to the waitlist and you’ll be notified when it comes back in stock!) –Ilana, Managing Editor
10. Universal Thread Jumpsuit, $34.99
In true little sister fashion, I recently snagged this jumpsuit out of my sister’s closet and was convinced that I needed to pick one up for myself too. I’m always impressed with Target’s selection and this piece is no exception! –Jessi, Senior Editor
