The Edit

Fine, we’ll admit it… Friday is our favorite day of the week, but not just because it’s when the weekend makes an arrival. (Although, we really appreciate that.) It’s also a favorite of ours because we get to share the many things we’ve been loving with you all, and that makes us pretty happy. So let’s cut the chit-chat and just get right to it! Hope you love this week’s Edit

1. LC Lauren Conrad Shoot Styled by Kate Martindale
Yep, it’s true… We were already prepping for the holidays at my last LC Lauren Conrad shoot. Can you believe it? This little setup styled by our contributor and prop stylist Kate was one of my favorite details from that day. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

2. Dôen Ash Dress in Adobe, $198
Here’s another outfit choice that I wore to The Little Market’s grand opening (be sure to stop by the next time you’re in the Palisades Village!). From the color to the wrapped waist, this is one of my new favorite purchases that I’ll definitely be wearing again. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

3. Fairy Garden Party via Deets & Things with Black Twine
I love a good garden party, and this fairy themed birthday party is pretty magical. Complete with personalized fairy wings, a wand decorating table, and plenty of pixie dust treats, of course. Too cute. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

4. Amelia Dennie for Breast Cancer Awareness
This is Amelia—she is a friend of mine and the wife of one of my best friends, Najee. She buzzed her head this month to raise awareness about breast cancer and checking yourself regularly, and the video she posted about her experience is so powerful. Najee’s sweet mom passed away of breast cancer when he and I were in high school, and I still remember the heart-wrenching experience so vividly. I’m so inspired by Amelia’s bravery to raise awareness about this illness and develop more empathy for those who have had to go through this battle. –Tessa, Associate Editor

LC Lauren Conrad cable knit sweater

5. LC Lauren Conrad Cable-Knit Crop Sweater, $50
After I saw Lauren wearing this cozy sweater in her Redbook cover story, I knew I needed to add it to my fall wardrobe ASAP. The deep orange color is perfect for fall and I love the cropped silhouette, which keeps it from feeling too bulky. –Kiera, Editorial Intern

marysia antibes maillot

6. Marysia Antibes Maillot, $348
Swimsuit shopping can be hard (especially after having two babies…), so finding one that fits perfectly can be worth the splurge. Luckily I scored this Marysia Maillot during a big ShopBop site-wide sale, and it was by far the most well-made, flattering, and chicest swimsuit I’ve tried on. And since I opted for the classic all-black hue, I know I’ll wear it for many seasons to come. –Ilana, Managing Editor

7. Kristin Ess’ Twist/Pony/Bun Tutorial
My ridiculously talented friend and hair genius Kristin Ess shot this little hair tutorial on me about a year ago, and I just rediscovered it while I was browsing through her Instagram for hair inspo. It’s such an easy and chic way to style your hair when you want to pull it back, and I plan on following her tutorial for the next wedding I go to. –Rachel, Managing Editor

jellycat teddy bear

8. Jellycat Bashful Honey Bear, $22.50
I just celebrated my nephew’s first birthday and I had to get him his first teddy bear! Jellycat makes the softest stuffed animals by far, and this is one bear he’ll be able to snuggle with for years to come. –Jessi, Senior Editor

black tassel earrings from The Little Market

9. The Little Market Layered Tassel Earrings – Black, $38
I couldn’t resist doing a little shopping at The Little Market store opening event a few weeks ago, and I decided to snag a pair of these layered tassel earrings before we left. I admittedly don’t wear drop earrings too often, but I’m in love with these ones because they’re so lightweight, and the black goes with everything. –Tessa, Associate Editor

bella vita imo slide sandals

10. Bella Vita Imo Slide Sandal, $79.95
I’m all about a good slide sandal and I love the way these work equally well at the beach or walking around for miles on vacation. The rubber bottoms didn’t have great traction at first, but by the third wear I felt like they had molded to my foot. They’re insanely comfortable and if you like an easy, simple look, these are perfect. –Kiera, Editorial Intern
