brixton joanna straw hat

1. Brixton ‘Joanna’ Straw Hat, $44
My most used accessory during the summer? Straw hats for sure. I’m all about boater hats like this one. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

LC Lauren Conrad sheer kimono

2. LC Lauren Conrad Bella Greenport Floral Kimono, $50
I never hit the beach without proper sun protection these days. A great way to shield your shoulders from the afternoon sun and an easy piece to slip over a swimsuit is a cute kimono like this one from my LC Lauren Conrad collection. –Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

the little market sisal baskets in blue

3. The Little Market Striped Sisal Basket – Blue, $8 – $72
I’ve always been a fan of The Little Market baskets, but I’ve fallen in love all over again with these bright blue striped baskets they recently added to their lineup. The pop of color is so, so good and they’re handmade by artisans in Kenya. Plus, they come in every size you can think of, from teeny tiny 3″ baskets (adorable) to larger 14″ baskets. –Tessa, Associate Editor

4. Sharp Objects on HBO
Gillian Flynn is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I’ve been patiently waiting for her book Sharp Objects to come to the small screen. I read the novel years ago and it was one of the most haunting, intense, well-written stories I have ever read—and so far the show is just as good as the book! Amy Adams plays a reporter from a small town, who goes back home to report on a couple of murders that have just taken place in her hometown. If you’re into psychological thrillers, you will love this show (and if you can, read the book first!). –Rachel, Managing Editor

levis wedgie jeans

5. Levi’s Wedgie High-Rise Jeans, $98
Right now I’m really into that lived in, relaxed jeans trend. Levi’s are pretty timeless and this pair in particular are super soft and comfortable. –Jessi, Senior Editor

LC Lauren Conrad fit and flare dress

6. LC Lauren Conrad Print Fit & Flare Dress, $28
There are few summer staples I love more than an easy sundress, and this LC Lauren Conrad one fits the bill! I love the blue floral print, the ties on the sleeves, and the ruching in the chest that makes it so flattering. –Allison, Managing Editor

anthropologie pilcro striped jeans

7. Pilcro High-Rise Bootcut Jeans, $118
The hunt for the perfect striped jeans is no easy feat, but I think I’ve come pretty close with these cropped flares. I wanted a pair of jeans to lighten up some of my favorite dark, distressed band tees for the summer, but I’m also excited to wear them with plain white tops and maybe even mix them with a few other patterns in my closet. Also, they’re so stretchy and comfortable—I know I’m going to live in these. –Tessa, Associate Editor

jodi towel rack

8. Signature Hardware Jodi Towel Rack With Square Hangers, $55
I’d been searching for a hook rack tp hang purses and bags in our front entryway before stumbling upon this one. I love everything about it, from the modern shape to the light wood material. –Ilana, Managing Editor

American Baggage by Ann Street Studio

9. American Baggage by Ann Street Studio
I recently read this article by a blogger I love, Ann Street Studio. I became interested in her blog after reading that she picked up her entire Manhattan life and decided to move to Provence for a year. This is an idea I found so intriguing and romantic myself, so have been loving following along with her life as an Aixoise implant. In this article, she details her observations on the differences in how the Americans vs. the French view food and body image. It is fascinating and has me really evaluating my own relationship with both concepts. –Allison, Managing Editor

10. Block Shop Sidewinder Woodblock Print, from $320
I’ve been lusting after Block Shop’s woodblock paper prints for a while now. This one in particular would look so perfect in our living room. Every print is designed here in Los Angeles and printed in small batches by master printers in India. They pay fair wages and invest 5% of the annual net profits in their Bagru women’s empowerment program, which is focused on women’s health, education, and skills training. –Ilana, Managing Editor
