The Little Market tiny tassel necklace

goop savory sweet potato pancake with arugula salad

3. Goop Savory Sweet Potato Pancake With Arugula Salad
I’ve made this for dinner twice in the past two weeks. This simple, wholesome recipe only requires a handful of ingredients, yet it’s so full of flavor. It’s made even better by the addition of a poached egg on top (which also adds a bit of protein). My kids love it too! –Ilana, Managing Editor

WAYF mahari cut out midi dress

5. WAYF Mahari Cutout Midi Dress, $95
While searching for the perfect wedding guest ensemble I came across this summery dress option. While I may not be wearing it to the wedding, I added it to my closet because it seemed like a piece that I absolutely need to take on my next tropical vacation. –Jessi, Senior Editor

BaByliss Pro nano titanium straightener

6. BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Straightening Iron, $139.95
My hairdresser (who has been doing my hair since I was 11!) recommended this flat iron to me years ago, and I have never strayed since. It’s a bit of a splurge, but each one I have owned has lasted me 5+ years without a single issue, and when it finally does come time to buy a new one, I always come back to this brand. I swear by this iron—it makes my hair super smooth and soft, and the 1-inch size is perfect for everything from loose waves to tight curls and of course, achieving stick straight hair. (BaByliss also makes amazing curling irons, which I own in several sizes for days when I want fuller curls. You really can’t go wrong with this brand!) –Tessa, Associate Editor

the universe has your back

7. The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein, $9 – $16.99
As someone who commutes a few days a week from Orange County to Los Angeles, I rely heavily on audiobooks to make my drives go by quickly. The Universe Has Your Back has been my latest audiobook of the month. I have been loving listening to Gabrielle Bernstein’s tips for learning through love and doing away with a fear-based mindset. Amazon describes it best: Each story and lesson in the book guides readers to release the blocks to what they most long for: happiness, security, and clear direction. “The lessons help readers relinquish the need to control so they can relax into a sense of certainty and freedom. Readers will learn to stop chasing life and truly live.” –Allison, Managing Editor

tokyo milk hand creme

8. Tokyo Milk Hand Creme Trio, $66
Not only is the packaging on these hand creams from Tokyo Milk beautiful, but they are also the best-smelling hand creams out there! I got this trio recently and I always have a tube in any handbag I’m using. They make my hands super soft… plus, they make amazing gifts! –Rachel, Managing Editor

LC Lauren Conrad tie sleeve dress

9. LC Lauren Conrad Tie-Sleeve Swing Dress, $40
If there’s one piece I’ve been living in so far this summer, it has to be this LC Lauren Conrad swing dress. With a serious heat wave happening here in SoCal, dresses are the easiest and most comfortable way to stay cool. –Jessi, Senior Editor

hysteria podcast from crooked media

10. Hysteria Podcast from Crooked Media
I listen to a ton of Crooked Media’s podcasts religiously (Pod Save America, Lovett or Leave It, Pod Save the World, etc.), all of which are hosted by men. So I was beyond excited when I heard that Erin Ryan was hosting a brand new podcast for Crooked called Hysteria, with all women co-hosts. The first few episodes have been smart, funny, insightful and have helped me understand more of what’s going on in politics, and in the world in general, right now. Erin is brilliant (as are her co-hosts) and I’m so excited to listen to a new episode every week! –Rachel, Managing Editor
