PDP new tint skin hydrating foundation

1. Beautycounter Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation, $42
I’ve been using this foundation for a few years now. I was first drawn to the Beautycounter brand because they are known for using only safe and nontoxic ingredients. This foundation is lightweight but provides great, even looking coverage at the same time. – Lauren, editor-in-chief

smashbox spotlight highlighter palette

2. Smashbox Spotlight Palette, $24
I’ve tried my fair share of highlighters, but right now this palette is my go-to. I absolutely love that it comes in a palette with three different shades, so I can choose which highlighter I feel like using that day (or even mix a couple of them!). The ‘Pearl’ palette comes with a very subtle and light shade, a medium ultra-dewy shade, and a slightly darker shimmery shade with a touch of glitter. It’s also super versatile; I use it on my cheekbones, down the center of my nose, and sometimes even pat some on my eyelids with my fingertips for a radiant, glow-y makeup look. – Tessa, editorial assistant

becca priming filter face primer

3. Becca Backlight Priming Filter Face Primer, $38
I’m usually a matte kind of girl, but lately I’ve been all about having a subtle glow. This Becca primer is so lightweight and layers under my foundation just right without leaving my skin oily. If you’re looking to add a little dewiness to your makeup routine, I highly recommend trying out this primer! – Jessi, senior editor

glossier cloud paint

4. Glossier Cloud Paint, $18
I wasn’t really a cream blush girl until I discovered Glossier’s Cloud Paint. Unlike some of the other cream blushes I’ve tried, this product is semi-sheer and buildable, so you can get that perfect flush of color without having to worry about applying too much. So far I’ve tried three different shades of Cloud Paint, and they all look stunning on my skin tone. – Ilana, managing editor

benefit cosmetics watts up! highlighter

5. Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter, $30
I’ve been using this Benefit Cosmetics highlighter for years now, and it has become a permanent part of my morning makeup routine. I sweep it in a half circle from my brow bone down to my cheekbones, and I love the subtle shimmer it adds. It even creates a bit of a contouring effect, allowing my eyebrows and cheekbones to really “pop.” – Allison, managing editor

urban decay naked flushed palette

6. Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette, $34
It’s hard to believe that a single palette can have the perfect bronzer, highlighter, and blush, but this one from Urban Decay has it all! This is the only palette I use after I apply foundation, and I’m always pleased with the results. The colors blend seamlessly and are buildable enough to use whether you’re a shade lighter for winter or want to achieve a summery bronze glow. – Jessi, senior editor

diorskin rosy glow blush

7. Dior Diorskin Rosy Glow Blush, $44
This is my all-time favorite blush. This genius product reacts to the moisture in your skin to develop a custom pink color that’s perfect for your complexion. If you are looking for a perfectly flushes, rosy look (that’s totally unique to you and your skin tone), this blush is for you. – Rachel, managing editor

MAC cosmetics sheertone blush in pinch me

8. MAC Sheertone Shimer Powder Blush in ‘Pinch Me’, $24
When I discovered Mac’s “sheertone” blushes, I was obsessed right off the bat. The sheer finish means they don’t look cakey or heavy on the skin, but they still stay on all day long. They’re buildable too, so you still have the option to add more product for a deeper color. I haven’t branched out and tried multiple shades yet, but my favorite so far has been the shade called ‘Pinch Me.’ – Tessa, editorial assistant

laura mercier secret concealer

9. Laura Mercier Secret Concealer, $27
This concealer may come in a tiny container but it’ll last you a long time. You only need a touch to make dark circles disappear, and it stays put all day—which means come summer, you won’t need to reapply every 20 minutes. It’s light enough that you won’t feel like you’re caking on makeup, and it works equally well as a primer for eye shadow when lightly dabbed on your eyelids. – Kiera, editorial intern

benetint cheek and lip stain

10. Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Cheek & Lip Stain, $30
I’ve been using this tint for almost 10 years now, starting when I was in college! It’s such a staple in my cosmetics bag and I don’t think I’ll ever retire this product. If you’ve never used a stain before, don’t be intimidated; I basically paint a few swipes onto my cheeks, almost like a translucent nail polish, and then use my finger to rub it in, resulting in the most natural, barely-blushing rosy cheeks. This stain lets the natural texture and characteristics of my skin shine while still giving me the perfect hint of color, as opposed to caked-on heavy cream or powder blushes. For someone who has an extremely low maintenance makeup routine, I love that I can just swipe this product on, brush mascara on my lashes and I’m ready to run out the door. Plus, it has a very feminine, faint rose scent that I love. – Allison, managing editor
