The Edit

We’re in the final countdown everyone! Christmas Eve is this Sunday…are you ready for it? We can’t wait to partake in all the holiday festivities as soon as we clock out for the day. Few things sound better than a mug of peppermint hot cocoa and a big cozy blanket right about now. But before we ride off into a fun filled weekend, we wanted to share a handful of our weekly favorites. From antique home décor to a podcast we can’t stop listening to, this week’s Edit has something for every interest. Keep scrolling to see what we’re obsessed with lately…

vintage brass geese figures

1. Vintage Set of 2 Brass Geese Statues, $19.99
I love finding vintage brass pieces for my home on Etsy. I recently purchased similar geese like these cuties for my home office and I love the personality they bring to any space. – Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

The Little Market keepsake candle

2. The Little Market Keepsake Candle in Baby’s Breath, $48
During the holiday season, my favorite gifts to give are those that you can eat, drink, or burn. This Keepsake Candle from The Little Market goes beyond making your home smell delicious. When it’s all burned out, use the glass container and lid to keep your trinkets safe or even use it as a cute succulent planter. – Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

Pod Save America podcast

3. Pod Save America
With all of the chaos and insanity in politics over the last year, there’s one podcast that has helped me keep me sane… Pod Save America. It’s hosted by Obama’s former aides and speechwriters, who are extremely intelligent and also hysterical. The podcast breaks down the week’s news, and tells listeners what they can do to help. In a world that seems to be spiraling out of control more and more each day, listening to Pod Save America will make you feel like you’re not alone, and also give you the information on how to make an impact. – Rachel, Managing Editor

Anthropologie pearl embellished flats

4. Anthropologie Opulent Ballet Flats, $128
While I love pulling on my boots this time of year, I like to switch up my footwear and add in a fancy ballet flat every once in a while. These beautiful rose-colored flats from Anthropologie have stolen my heart. They look just as chic with a pleated holiday party skirt as they do with jeans and my favorite cozy sweater. – Allison, Managing Editor

The Little Market woven serving tray

The Little Market serving tray

5. The Little Market Large Round Woven Serving Tray in Natural, $58
I fell in love with this hand-woven serving tray from The Little Market the moment I saw it. The neutral hue makes it a perfect gift to suit any home décor style, and you can feel good knowing your purchase supports female artisans in Rwanda. – Ilana, Managing Editor

SPANX faux leather leggings

6. SPANX Faux Leather Leggings, $98
I scooped these leggings up on Black Friday, and I’m so glad I did! I practically live in leggings, especially when winter comes around, so I wanted a pair this season that I could wear and not totally feel like I’m wearing lounge clothes. I love that these still feel dressed up enough to wear with blouses, and casual enough to pair with a sweatshirt and sneakers on down days. – Tessa, Editorial Assistant

urban outfitters record stand

7. Urban Outfitters Vinyl Record Storage Shelf, $69
I’ve had a record player for quite some time now, but I have yet to find the perfect stand…until now! Leave it to Urban Outfitters to have a stand that matches my décor just right. – Jessi, Senior Editor

Paper Crown phoebe bomber jacket

8. Paper Crown Phoebe Bomber Jacket, $318
The moment I saw this striped bomber jacket on Paper Crown’s Instagram feed, I knew I had to have it. I love the colors, the cut, and how cozy it looks. Can’t wait to wear it with skinny jeans, boots and a flowy top! – Rachel, Managing Editor

LC Lauren Conrad beauty kit

9. LC Lauren Conrad Beauty & Blunders Cosmetic Kit, $18.20
This cute little kit from Lauren’s line with Kohl’s comes chock full of all my beauty needs. From a blending sponge to nail files to an on-the-go hair brush (and more!), this is one wish list item that I’ll be giving this year, and hope to be receiving too! – Allison, Managing Editor

Lorena Canals Rug

10. Lorena Canals Washable Rug in Stripes Glacier – Gray, $200
I just purchased this rug as a chic and cozy spot for my 6-month old to practice crawling on. We layered it over the jute rug in our living room and I love the way it looks, but especially love that it’s machine washable—an amazing feature when you have kids and pets at home! – Ilana, Managing Editor
