Since we had a couple new Team LC babies make their arrival this summer, we spent our fair share of time discussing strollers around the office. If you’re not a mama yet, this may not sound like the most exciting topic. But if you’ve ever had to purchase a stroller yourself, you know how much thought and research goes into picking the perfect one. Below you will find 10 luxe stroller picks for the mama who wants to splurge on a top-of-the-line piece of baby gear. While it’s certainly not necessary to spend a ton of money on a stroller for your little one, today we are sharing our luxury stroller picks in particular. Not only are these strollers well-made and extremely chic—with tons of accessory options and multiple configurations—but most of them hold their resale value very well, meaning you will be able to make some of your money back later on if you take good care of your baby gear. Check them out below…
1. UPPAbaby Vista 2017 Stroller, $899
Lauren uses this luxe stroller for baby Liam in the chic Austin green color. Some of our favorite features are the extra large cargo basket and the included newborn bassinet, which is even approved for safe sleeping for overnight trips. This stroller can also be used with the UPPAbaby MESA infant car seat for a complete travel system. And if you plan on having a second baby within three or four years of your first, you can purchase a rumble seat and/or Ride Along board to keep two or even three kiddos in tow, making it a worthwhile investment.
2. Cybex PRIAM, from $1,099
This is another state-of-the-art stroller with the Lauren Conrad seal of approval. The brand is a favorite among the fashion set, known for their collaborations with designers like Jeremy Scott and other style-inspired collections. It has bassinet, infant car seat, and toddler seat attachments, making it an ideal stroller for wherever life may take you and your babe.
3. Joolz Geo2, $999
Another Lauren Conrad personal pick, our editor-in-chief has this stroller in the Parrot Blue hue. It’s compact (just 24 inches wide) and easy to maneuver with just one hand, but boasts plenty of basket space and the option to convert to a double should a sibling come along.
4. Doona Infant Car Seat and Stroller, $499
The Doona stroller is truly in a class of its own when it comes to making life easier. It’s actually an infant car seat with integrated wheels that fold in and out to transform it into a stroller. It’s won numerous awards for its innovative design, and is especially handy in situations like airport travel.
5. Stokke Xplory, $1,129
Not only is the Stokke Xplory one of the chicest strollers on the market, but the height adjustable design raises your baby higher than any other stroller out there, in order to promote eye contact and connection. For this same reason, it’s also ideal for pulling up to a table at a restaurant or cafe. It can be paired with a carry cot for newborns or an infant car seat for a travel system.
6. UPPAbaby G-Luxe, $280
An umbrella stroller is essential for quick trips or travel. And as far as umbrella strollers go, this UPPAbaby model is top of the line. Its sunshade extends much further than any other umbrella stroller and it still has a full recline, allowing your child to nap in it and making it suitable for use from as early as three months of age.
7. BOB Revolution PRO, $425
If you’re a runner, you’re definitely going to want to put a jogging stroller on your registry. BOB is known for making the best jogging strollers, which will allow you to exercise with your little one in tow. It has hand-activated rear drum brakes for the best downhill control, and also comes in a double model.
8. Rachel Zoe x Quinny Moodd, $898
When Rachel Zoe designs a stroller, you know it’s going to be chic. Inspired by vintage leather luggage, the premium cognac leather and oversized gold detailing complement black and white fabric. It has a full recline suitable for a newborn and offers quick automatic unfolding and easy folding.
9. Bugaboo Donkey Duo, $1,719
The Bugaboo Donkey Duo is the Rolls Royce of double strollers. If you currently only have one kiddo, the Donkey Mono base can be converted to a duo later on. With loads of storage space, air-filled tires, and a one-piece handlebar, you’re ready to go.
10. Stokke Scoot, $699
If you’re looking for a luxury stroller brand with a slightly lower price tag, the Stokke Scoot is a great option, at almost half the price of the Xplory. This stroller is the brand’s compact urban stroller, designed with the city dweller in mind. It has ample basket space, can be used as part of a travel system with compatible car seats, and the fully reclinable seat can be flipped around to be forward or parent-facing.
