Tuesday Ten: August Style Tips

Fall fashion is right around the corner, but that doesn’t mean that I’m going to revamp my entire wardrobe just yet. With the warm nights still filled with lively backyard parties, August is the perfect time to still get use out of your go-to summer pieces. From printed maxi dresses to flowy culottes, the next couple of months are all about being innovative with what’s left of your summer wardrobe. Take a peek at this month’s Style Tips to see how these 10 stylish bloggers are making August look like the best month yet…

Casual cool via Style Souffle

1. Casual cool.
Sometimes your favorite pair of distressed denim just does the job. Taylor-Rae of Style Soufflé looks casual cool in her jeans, flats, and on-trend boater hat. Now this is a uniform I can jump on.

Bumpin' around via Lemon Stripes

3. Bumpin’ around.
This mama-friendly look is both chic and totally comfortable. Julia of Lemon Stripes dressed her bump in an evergreen striped shirt and versatile white jeans. Consider adding a personal touch to your wardrobe with a monogrammed handbag like the one she’s holding above.

Polka dot pretty via The Lipstick Giraffe

5. Polka dot pretty.
My best wardrobe advice this season? Don’t be afraid to rock a bold pattern. Kachet of The Lipstick Giraffe looks effortless in her ruffle polka dot dress. This look can easily be dressed down with a pair of white sneakers or dressed up for a night on the town.

Ruffled reality via Rhyme and Reason

6. Ruffled reality.
There’s nothing like a blouse that catches a summer breeze. I love the shades of blue that Jillian of Rhyme & Reason paired with her adorable birdcage handbag. If you still haven’t picked one up, you’re going to want to snag a bag like this for all of your summer adventures and beyond.

10. More is more.
…Especially when it comes to a monochromatic look like this one. Coco of Millennielle gave some interest to an all-white look with some fun sandals and a tie-front blouse. The pop of red on her handbag is the perfect finishing touch too.
