The LC.com Edit

Welcome to the (almost) weekend everyone! This week has been a delicious kick off to a new month. If you missed it, our editors showed us how to build the ultimate ice cream float bar, unveiled a delicious homemade lobster roll recipe, and even showed us how to make a chopped veggie salad perfect for hot summer evenings. We don’t know about you, but summer 2017 has been the yummiest yet. While we may not have any snacks recorded in today’s installment of The LC.com Edit, our editors are sharing some of their favorite fitness trackers, newly released albums, and some chic sunglasses that you’ll want to wear ASAP. Keep scrolling to see what made this week’s Edit, and be sure to let us know what you’re currently obsessed with in the comments…

Fitbit Alta HR, Special Edition Pink Rose Gold

1. Fitbit Alta HR, Special Edition Pink Rose Gold, $149.95
The girls in the office turned me on to this cute little Fitbit. I love the rose gold color and how sleek and small it is—a change from those dark and bulky fitness trackers of the past. Plus, it’s pretty fun to check off fitness goals and see how your friends are doing too. – Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

Ariel Gordon ID Signet Cuff

2. Ariel Gordon ID Signet Cuff, $1,245
One of my sweet friends gifted me this beautiful bracelet with Liam’s name on it. I wear it every day and it easily complements some of my other favorite gold pieces that I wear on a regular basis. – Lauren, Editor-in-Chief

Paper Crown Cypress Tank

3. Paper Crown Cypress Tank, $165
It’s been a pretty hot and humid summer out here in L.A. and it would be crazy to wear anything that wasn’t sleeveless lately. This tank top from Paper Crown has the cutest Peter Pan collar detail and can be worn with anything from high-waisted shorts to your favorite skirt. – Ilana, Managing Editor

LC Lauren Conrad Sushi Round Gradient Sunglasses

LC Lauren Conrad Sushi Round Gradient Sunglasses

I love a pair of big, round sunglasses and these LC Lauren Conrad ones fit the bill perfectly. Plus, you can’t beat the price so I don’t feel bad about stocking up on a few different styles! Aren’t these retro looking frames so fun? – Tessa, Editorial Assistant

The Little Market Candle Subscription

5. The Little Market Candle Subscription, $26 per candle
This pick is for the candle lovers out there! I just discovered that The Little Market has a candle subscription and my life (and home) will never be the same! Once you’ve subscribed, you’ll get a candle in your mailbox every month with a new and yummy scent. I can’t wait to get mine! –Jessi, Associate Editor

Melodrama by Lorde

6. Melodrama by Lorde, $11.88
I’ve been a big fan of Lorde for a while now, and have been patiently waiting for the arrival of her new album. After listening to it for a couple weeks, I couldn’t be more obsessed. It’s one of those albums that gets better the more you listen to it, which I love. Give it a listen and let me know if you love it as much as I do! – Rachel, Managing Editor

ALTERNA Haircare Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Pure

7. ALTERNA Haircare Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Pure, $25
One of my girlfriends recently turned me onto this after-shower hair oil, and it’s been a game changer. For those of you who read my post about stripping shampoos, you know that I’m going through a big overhaul of my haircare routine. This oil has made my blonde tresses so silky, shiny and smooth… It almost feels like it’s undoing the damage from years of color processing and heat styling. Plus, it’s made without parabens or sulfates which makes this product a win-win in my book.– Allison, Managing Editor

Wrap in Buffalo Check

8. Solly Baby Wrap in Buffalo Check, $80
A Solly Baby Wrap is one of my biggest new mama essentials, so imagine my excitement when the brand collaborated with one of my favorite textile designers (whom we’ve featured on the site before), Caitlin Wilson. I’ve gotten so many compliments when wearing my newborn around our neighborhood in this chic printed wrap. – Ilana, Managing Editor

MAC Cosmetics Powder Blush

9. MAC Cosmetics Powder Blush in Pinch Me, $23
If I could dream up a perfect blush, it would be this one. This particular shade is one of MAC’s “sheertone” blushes, meaning it leaves a veil of color on your cheeks that blends in with your skin and looks real. (The shade is called ‘Pinch Me’ for a reason… It leaves your cheeks looking like they’ve just been pinched, instead of looking like makeup!). Basically, this shade is surprisingly pigmented, stays all day, and still pulls off the perfect no-makeup-makeup look that I love. It can do no wrong. – Tessa, Editorial Assistant

Zara Leather Sandals with Raffia Pompom

10. Zara Leather Sandals with Raffia Pompom, on sale for $35.99
Pom poms are having a major moment this summer, especially in the LaurenConrad.com office! I bought these cute and comfy leather sandals from Zara and I’ve worn them for both date nights and regular days at work. They’re so versatile and can easily be worn all day without leaving your feet in pain. –Jessi, Associate Editor
