So, today we’re sharing 10 of our favorite tried-and-true health and fitness apps that will keep you accountable and help you stick with those resolutions this year.

We love how our Fitbits motivate us to get up from our desks during the day and take walking breaks. For women who work their computers all day long, a Fitbit can be a total game changer and can make the difference between feeling great or sluggish at the end of the day! The app that goes along with any Fitbit device is great because it will show you your steps, distance walked, calories burned, and more stats that are helpful for achieving that 10k steps a day goal.
2. Spotify Running
While we do love having ongoing workout playlist that we’re constantly adding music to, sometimes there just isn’t time to find new songs during the week… Which can result in a stale workout soundtrack. Spotify Running will actually pick songs for you based on the pace at which you’re running. Plus, you’ll discover amazing new music from it!
Your fitness game will be completely changed when you sign up for Classpass. It’s become one of our most frequently used apps ever since! With a subscription, Classpass lets you book workouts at studios all over Los Angeles (and other cities when you’re traveling), which is one of the best ways to test out new workouts and expand your fitness routine. The only catch is that you can only visit the same studio 3 times in one month—but that way, you’ll discover new workout studios and might find a new favorite routine.
4. Weight Watchers
If you’re looking for an app that lets you track your daily food intake, find recipes, and look up nutritional info, look no further than the Weight Watchers app. This app is amazing for keeping yourself accountable for what you eat and how much you exercise. The app syncs to Fitbit, so all of your steps and workouts will be tracked as well. It also features a social network called Connect, where you can read other users stories, find recipes and food recommendations, and get helpful tips and tricks.
Try as we might to remember to wear our Fitbits each day, we sometimes leave them sitting on our nightstands before slipping on our sneakers and running out the door. If you’re in a pinch and still want to track your steps, try the Pedometer app, which will keep track of your movement for you as long as your phone is in a purse or pocket.
6. Nike+ Training Club
This app is amazing because it provides you with workouts that you can do in the comfort of your own home or at the gym. If you are unsure how to do a workout one your own, there are videos that break down each move so that you can do it the correct way without injuring yourself. The fact that it this app is free is a pretty great added bonus!
7. Sweat With Kayla
If you’re a big fan of Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide then we highly recommend this app. Not only are all of Kayla’s workouts available on this app, but it also provides meal plans to keep your clean eating in check as well. After all, working out is only half of the fitness puzzle!
If you’re the type that likes to get your workout in outdoors exploring rather than inside, then Yonder is perfect for you. All you have to do is set your location and it suggests all sorts of destinations nearby to go hiking, running, skiing, and more! Talk about a fun way to get out and play in a healthy way, instead of feeling stuck inside a gym.
It can be hard to know what’s really going into your body when you’re trying to keep track of everything in your head, and MyFitnessPal makes it so much easier. You simply type in what you’re eating throughout the day, and it tells you the nutritional value of each item, so you know exactly what is in your food. It also keeps track of your calorie intake, and lets you know how many calories each of your meals is taking up, making it easy to reach your health and fitness goals.
This app is pretty amazing for achieving those small but attainable goals throughout the day. Trying to curb your sweet tooth? Wanting to drink more water? Lifesum helps you pick a goal and sends you reminders and feedback to help stay on track. It also allows you to visualize your progress with simple, easy-to-understand graphics.
