In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a reflection upon and celebration of Dr. King’s life, achievements, and contribution to the civil rights movement. Dr. King had a dream of a color-blind society and worked toward achieving racial equality in the United States. He was a key activist and leader in the civil rights movement and was dedicated to ending racial segregation within America. Dr. King encouraged nonviolent protests and campaigned for equal rights. Today and every day, we should honor the efforts of civil rights movement leaders such as Dr. King and recognize the progress that has been made and that has yet to be made for human rights and civil rights around the world.

How are you honoring MLK today?

XO Lauren
