I have a weakness for adorable greeting cards. When I’m shopping for a birthday gift for someone, I spend almost as much time choosing the perfect card as I do picking out a thoughtful present. A cute card can really put a smile on someone’s face like almost nothing else can. But the only thing more fun than shopping for a sweet card is making one! And making a quality card is actually a lot easier than you might think. I recently decided to whip up a whole batch of DIY cards so that I wouldn’t have to run out at the last minute before heading to a birthday party (which is what usually ends up happening). It’s easy to make a bunch of these at once and keep them on hand for birthdays and other celebrations. They are so simple to make, but even cuter than most store-bought cards. Filled with confetti, sprinkles, sequins, and other fun bits, these DIY Confetti Pocket Greeting Cards will bring a pint-sized party to whoever you give them too. Here’s how to make them…
Here’s what you will need:
- blank greeting cards
- small glassine envelopes (to fit on the front of the card)
- glue
- confetti, sprinkles, sequins, or whatever other fun bits and baubles you can think of!
Here’s how to make them:
Glue your envelope to the front of the card, either eyeballing it or centering it using a ruler if you prefer. Fill with confetti of choice. Write a sweet greeting inside.

That’s it!
