When I began the wedding planning process, one of the things that was very important in terms of picking my bridesmaids’ dresses was making sure that each of my friends felt comfortable in what she was wearing. Everyone’s body and style are different in everyday life. So, in my opinion, there’s no reason not to let your bridesmaids choose what feels most comfortable for them. When my dear friend and Paper Crown co-founder Maura and I set out to design our Paper Crown Bridesmaids line, we kept this idea in mind. That’s why we created different necklines, colors, styles, lengths—you name it—for our collection. And we’re still adding new styles every season!

Our bridesmaids line truly has a dress for everyone’s style and a whole range of body types. And today, I’m excited to show you how six bloggers have styled our bridesmaids dresses to flatter their figures. Think of it as a little guide on how to help your ‘maids choose the dress they love most. And remember, you can mix and match any of these styles together to create a stunning wedding party where everyone feels gorgeous in their own skin.

Without further ado, here’s how six gorgeous, real-life women styled our Paper Crown Bridesmaids dresses…

She can still wear heels with the dress, which is a major bonus for a bridesmaid who wants to wear fancy footwear on your big day. This style is flattering for your taller friends because it accentuates the waist and creates a long, lean silhouette. Shop for the Tori Dress by clicking here.

The perfect bridesmaid dress for the soon-to-be mama

Paper Crown dresses for every body, including bridesmaids who are expecting

If one of your bridesmaids happen to be expecting when you plan your wedding, it’s important to help her find a dress that will allow her to feel comfortable and look her most beautiful on the day of your nuptials. The Natalie Dress from our bridesmaids line is the perfect style for accentuating a baby bump and creating a long silhouette. It comes with a self-tie sash to help your ‘maid get the perfect fit, but it can be worn without as well. Maria of Classified Chic looks breathtaking while modeling this style in “Cream,” one of our favorite colors of the entire collection. I love all of these dresses, they are so pretty! Thank you for the breakdown about which styles of the line work best for different body types. Being able to choose the style of your bridesmaid dress is definitely something that is appreciated. I have been in quite a few weddings and it helps to feel comfortable in the dress you are being photographed in and wearing all day long. <3

  • I love these! Too cute!

  • Finding bridesmaid dresses can be so hard! I think it’s important to try to pick something that the bridesmaids can actually were again without looking like a bridesmaid, that way they aren’t spending a bunch of money on a dress they wear once. Thanks for sharing!

Well that’s just a poorly thought ad. None of these dreesses actually suits the body type you say it does. They are all made for very tall and lean women. Everyone knows that am hourglass shaped girl should never hide her wait, and the pearshaped girls usually avoid wearing a dress so tight around the hips.
