Celebrate has been online and in stores now for one whole week! Because the past week has been such a whirlwind in the best way possible, I thought it was time to stop and reflect on all of the amazing things that have been happening. For those of you that didn’t know, I just got back from a press tour in New York for the book. During the tour I gave TV viewers and radio listeners a taste of what they can expect to find within the book’s pages. On top of visiting some of my favorite talk shows and radio stations, I also completed the first leg of my book tour. In today’s installment of my Photo Diary series, I thought it would be fun to relive the fun and craziness and take you along with me!
Keep scrolling to see a behind-the-scenes glimpse at what it took to make my Celebrate press tour a success. Who knows, you might even find a delicious cocktail recipe somewhere in there too…
I made so many stops during my press tour and was lucky enough to get photos that gave all of the fun along the way. My team and I kicked off all of the festivities at a Celebrate launch party put on by my friends at Twitter.
No party would be complete without some signature cocktails. The Rock Candy Cocktails above were made with One Hope champagne and were as delicious as they were pretty. Below is a photo of the ‘Rosemary Me’ cocktails that were mixed up with Ketel One vodka. They were a hit to say the least (and you can try them too with this simple recipe)…
Rosemary Me Cocktail
- 2 oz vodka
- 4 oz pink grapefruit juice
- 1 oz rosemary infused simple syrup
For the rosemary simple syrup:
The simple syrup is very easy to make!
- Simply mix one part sugar and one part water in a saucepan over medium-high heat until sugar has completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat and add several sprigs of rosemary.
- Let sit for one hour. Remove rosemary and strain through cheesecloth if any rosemary remains.
For the cocktail:
- Serve over ice and garnish with a rosemary sprig if you’re feeling fancy!
Next up, one of my favorite stops along the way was visiting Pinterest headquarters. Here we created some DIY tutorials straight out of Celebrate.
Signing books for the guests that attended was only one of the fun activities that we had in store…
Then we got to my favorite part: crafting!
My guests and I hand-painted wrapping paper with fun watercolor designs…
And then created our own floral arrangements. Each one turned out beautifully!
During another stop on the press tour I got to chat about easy entertaining tips over at The Chew. Appetizers were consumed in the process…
Lastly, I chatted all about what to wear at your next soiree with Style Code Live. If you’re looking for an outfit to complement your festivities, be sure to check out my new LC Lauren Conrad Celebrate collection available at Kohl’s.
And there you have it! A lot goes into making a press tour run smoothly. I can’t thank my team enough for all that they’ve done!
Stay tuned for an ID Me post where I’ll be sharing details for all the outfits that I was wearing on my book tour…
Did I get to meet you at one of my book signings?
I loved getting to chat with so many LaurenConrad.com readers in person!
