Some of the best-dressed ladies we know are the ones who do a good job of mixing high and low. They have fun with fast fashion, but also know when to splurge on an amazing investment piece. For the fashionista, there’s almost no better feeling than adding a garment to your wardrobe that you’ve worked hard for and saved up to purchase. These kinds of special designer pieces will stay in your closet for years to come, and you can wear them time and time again. Our latest Chic rocks her ‘70s inspired outfit with a special investment piece of her own, showing us that patience really pays off.
How perfect and adorable does Taylor-Rae look?! She paired together a Rebecca Taylor fringe jacket, high-waisted flares, maroon embellished wedges, and a gorgeous purse. Simple and definitely chic! Taylor-Rae’s investment piece is her pale pink jacket. It’s a bold piece, but a style that we have seen in the past, present, and will see again in the future. Here is what Taylor-Rae had to say about her dazzling ensemble…
As spring approaches, we are seeing more and more designer collections emerge that also adorn ‘70s inspired pieces, like the one I wore in today’s post. It’s intricate design and fringe detail immediately captured my attention, and I knew I wanted to pair it with high-waisted denim trousers. The jacket’s crop fit also aided in elongating my 5’3” stature. Please know that this blush beauty is certainly an investment piece! I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger, but I can honestly say that this jacket has received some major mileage over the past several weeks.
Thank you Taylor-Rae for sharing your outfit ideas with us, and for proving that sometimes it’s worth the wait to save up for pieces like your jacket.
