Tuesday Ten: February Style Tips

February is a wonderful month for so many reasons. I got to kick this month off with a milestone birthday, Fashion Week is in full swing, and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Since it’s a pretty fashion-forward month, I’ve put together my monthly roundup of style tips that I just can’t get enough of. Below, you’ll find romantic pieces mixed in with some playful patterns and silhouettes. If you’re looking for an outfit to spice up date night, sashay through the streets of New York in, or just need plain old inspiration, look no further.

Here are my 10 style tips for the month of February…

Life's a breeze via Gal Meets Glam.

1. Life’s a breeze.
One of my favorite styles this year is the flowy maxi dress. Julia of Gal Meets Glam has me swooning over this romantic number, especially the sweet lace up detail. Not to mention this dress is the perfect spring transitional piece.

3. White out.
While the term “white out” applies to weather in most of the country right now, we Californians can’t say the same. Our winter whites come in the form of chic outerwear like Mary of Happily Grey demonstrates above.

6. Patterned to perfection.
I’ve been mad for plaid for quite some time now, but this windowpane pattern has to be the prettiest variation. Courtney of Curated by Courtney completed her look with some fun textures—leather leggings and suede boots.
