While it’s not exactly cold in Los Angeles right now, we know that there is a lot of layering happening all over the world. When the weather permits, we get pretty excited to layer as much as possible. We’re constantly asking ourselves: can we mix different patterns and textures? How many layers are too many layers? Don’t fret — our latest Chic shows us how she layers to keep warm and stay stylish in Toronto. Get some serious winter outfit inspiration below…
Right away, our favorite part of Rebecca’s outfit is the faux fur stole. It adds so much texture and style to the ensemble. We also love the three layering pieces she chose to enhance her look: her coat, stole, and beanie. Each element adds a subtle touch of color and doesn’t overwhelm the outfit. We always say that when you are adding several colors to an outfit, try and stick with the same hues, like pastels with pastels, neutrals with neutrals, bolds with bolds, etc. This keeps the consistency throughout your look. Read below what Rebecca has to say about her adorable outfit…
Come winter here in Toronto, it’s easy to find yourself wearing head-to-toe dark day in and day out. This outfit is part of a conscious effort to keep a light + bright wardrobe through the window. I’m a believer that our outside should reflect the inside—so it’s through bright winter outfits that inner joy is reflected!
Thanks for sharing your favorite winter outfit with us, Rebecca!
