One of my favorite aspects of our Chic of the Week section is covering bloggers of all kinds. From well-known fashion bloggers to women that are just getting their foot in the door, there’s something fashionable to learn from each and every one of you! Today I want to share with you a Chic of the Week all her own. Island babe turned Los Angeles local, this lady is not only a fashion blogger but she’s also a TV producer working on all of the hottest red carpet events. Trust me when I say that she knows her stuff!

Meet fashion blogger, LA lady, and our latest Chic, Madison of Minimal Major!

Madison of Minimal Major is our latest Chic of the Week!

We need this off-the-shoulder top in our closets ASAP!

Bows and bell sleeves.

Our latest Chic of the Week does minimal in a major way!

My favorite part about Madison’s blog Minimal Major? It aims to inspire her readers to keep their outfits minimal in a major way. No bells and whistles here, just straight-forward fashion that packs a major style punch! Let’s talk about how sweet and stylish Madison’s most recent look is. Here at Team LC we’re absolutely in love with the off-the-shoulder trend, so this look caught out eye immediately. Our favorite part about this outfit has to be the sweet bow details on her bell sleeves (not to mention her distressed white skinnies and those incredible metallic heels!). Just add a pop of color like Madison’s sky blue mani and you’re set! Here’s what Madison had to say about her outfit…

There’s something so subliminally sexy about an exposed shoulder and lately, I just can’t stop (won’t stop!) bearing a little collarbone. Paired with some simple skinnies, a midi-skirt, some cool culottes, or even boyfriend jeans like I did here – this trend can literally work with anything, and most importantly, on anyone! It doesn’t take much to pull off this shoulder bearing look and one thing’s for sure – it’s a foolproof way to add a little touch of romance to any ensemble. And though this trend made a major statement this summer, I predict we’ll be seeing more of this sweet silhouette come NYFW.

Thanks for adding to our off-the-shoulder obsession, Madison!

How do you feel about the off-the-shoulder trend?

Let me know in the comments!
