Blame it on my love for Taylor Swift but I’ve been a huge fan of two-piece outfits for quite some time now. A break from the usual crop top and high-waisted skirt combo, our latest Chic of the Week is stunning in her blouse meets culotte set. I am always blown away and truly inspired by the looks that we feature in our Chic of the Week installments, and this Chic is no exception! Makeup artist by day and fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blogger by night, this gal sure knows style when she sees it. In an effort to step up my fall wardrobe game, I am going to take a styling tip from this week’s post! Keep scrolling to see what I mean…
Congrats to our newest Chic, Dannon!

Summer will (unfortunately) be winding down in the next month, so I’m officially on the hunt for transitional pieces that will carry over into autumn. Dannon’s gorgeous pastel look is effortlessly chic and can easily transition into cooler weather (such a win/win in my book!). When it came down to styling this outfit, less was more! Since Dannon’s two-piece is a statement in itself, she chose to accessorize with simple black pumps and a bold clutch. Top it all off with round sunnies and a classic wristwatch and you have one flawless outfit! Here’s what Dannon loves most about her look…
I loved how I felt in this culotte pants and short sleeve blouse set. I paired it with my favorite Steve Madden Marlenee ankle strap heels so I didn’t look too boxy or disappear in the two-piece. I can’t believe how soft and comfortable this fabric was! So airy and roomy! There’s nothing better than wearing an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and chic at the same time. And how perfect is this for a Summer-Fall transition?! I can’t believe it’s only two months away!!
