One of our favorite hobbies is shopping our local flea markets. There’s something about browsing through vintage goods that makes us feel like we’re hunting for buried treasure. Our latest Chic of the Week has thrift store shopping down to an art…literally! Not only does this week’s Chic score the trendiest clothes at her local thrift stores, but also uses them to adorn her artwork in her Etsy shop! Sound interesting? Keep scrolling to see how this thrifty stylist mixes vintage pieces into her everyday wardrobe.

Meet our latest style maven, Alexz!

Our latest Chic of the Week rocks vintage pieces.

Felt hats, vintage band tees, and denim {award winning combo!}

This week's Chic turns thrift store finds into art.

We love how Alexz’s ensemble is channeling the coolest ‘90s trends. Vintage band tees never go out of style (hello, Rolling Stones!) and we adore how she paired hers with a distressed denim jacket and pop of silver jewelry. We’ve decided that we need to add some vintage funk to our closets too! Here’s what Alexz had to say about her look:

I’m all about felt hats, vintage band tees and denim as of late. Comfy, casual, cool…and easy! I’m an avid thrifter and scored this ‘90s denim jacket that I cut the hem off of to give it a more distressed look. I love pairing my thrifted finds with better quality pieces…like these high-waisted Hudsons. Just add a touch of jewelry and consider me dressed for a day of exploring the city.

What are some of your favorite accessories right now?

We’d love some inspiration in the comments below!
