Pastels in the springtime aren’t exactly a new or novel idea… But there’s a good reason that this palette makes an appearance each and every year. Because come springtime—when the flowers are blooming and the Earth feels fresh again—who doesn’t want to wear a color palette that reminds them of fragrant blossoms, cotton candy, ice cream, and all things lovely?
But this season, I’ve been craving “sorbet shades”—or pastel hues that are just a touch more vibrant. Think less Easter Sunday and more garden party. And this trend also doesn’t stop with your wardrobe. For today’s Currently Craving post, I decided to include a few home goods too, to help springify your space along with your closet…
1. LC Lauren Conrad Solid Henley, $29.99
A silky henley is one of those warbrobe staples you’ll find yourself wearing over and over again. The cornflower blue hue of this blouse gives it an updated twist for spring.
2. Anthropologie Boreal Bib Necklace, $88
This sweet statement necklace will pair well with all your spring outfits, from sundresses to jeans and a white tee.
3. The Little Market Sea Foam Herringbone Hamper, $100
This hamper from Lauren’s fair trade online shop The Little Market is hand-woven by women artisans in Senegal. Your dirty laundry has never looked so chic.
4. UO Sweetheart Sunglasses, $16
Every girl should have a pair of pastel heart-shaped sunnies in her accessories arsenal, especially with festival season approaching.
6. Soludos Dali Flat Espadrilles, $36
Espadrilles are one of the ultimate spring shoes, in my opinion. They’re chic and so easy to slip on for running errands or lounging poolside.
7. Splendid Classic PJ Set, $78
Even your PJs deserve a colorful update for spring. This set from splendid is classic and modern at the same time.
8. Anthropologie Striped Linen Pillow, $88
Updating your space for spring is as easy as swapping out a few throw pillows. The aqua tassels on these linen cushions are too cute.
9. Paper Crown Newport Dress, $314
I adore this dress from Lauren’s Paper Crown collection. I would love to wear it to a wedding or other dressy event this season.
10. Monogram Quagga Pullover, $98
I love a sweater with a good statement graphic. I can imagine wearing this one all spring long.
