We hope you all enjoyed seeing Part 1 of our highlights from New York Fashion Week! Today we are proud to present the second half of our favorite moments from the whirlwind weekend. From side-swept manicures to gold-dipped braids, these runway shows were nothing short of inspiring.

Take a peek below to see favorite moments from the second half of #LCfashionweek. And let us know which look is your favorite too…

Mara Hoffman

The makeup, hair and nails at Mara Hoffman got a gold medal in our book. The lead makeup artist Alice Lane (one of our favorite ladies to catch up with during fashion week) applied Maybelline Master Glaze in Warm Nude to the cheeks and eyes for a golden glow, and Baby Lips for a glossy pout…

Alice described that the look as “nomadic gypsy,” which we love.

The hair was the real showstopper backstage. Stylists weaved the models’ tresses into loose braids, then spray painted the ends gold. Love.

Monique Lhuillier

Monique Lhuillier always produces a collection that is dreamy, ladylike and tailored to perfection. And the makeup and hair is no different. This season, the look was completely natural and glowy, with neutral eyes, defined brows, and barely-there lips…

The hair was pulled up into soft up-dos using Morrocanoil products. Lead hairstylist Bob Recine described the style as a mix between a French twist and an imperfect chignon…

Tibi

The Tibi show is a great place to spot up-and-coming trends…and some familiar faces too! We loved seeing style icon Olivia Palermo and a few of our favorite bloggers including Leandra Medine of Man Repeller and Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam. Now onto the beauty…

The hair stylists used Aveda products to create a thin, single braid down the middle of the model’s heads, where their parts would be.

Nail artist Jin Soon Choi created a manicure that was neutral with a speckled twist: she used two coats of pinky-beige Nostalgia and topped it off with Polka White. We loved how these nails were subtle yet fun…

Derek Lam

Backstage at Derek Lam, the models wore what hair stylist Orlando Pita described as a “luminous ponytail inspired by indigenous cultures.” He explained to us that he took the hair down and teased it, then used a T3 SinglePass Twirl 1.25 Inch Curling Iron to curl hair from the ears down. He tied it all up into a sleek pony for the finished look.

The makeup look kept the focus on the eyes, using turquoise Estée Lauder shadows for a bold effect. There was no mascara, and lips were nude.

Edun

When we walked backstage at Edun, we noticed that the models had a very natural glowy makeup look. Our favorite part? The brushed-up, defined brows…

The hair was equal parts simple and pretty: long, soft low ponytails tied at the nape of the neck…

Opening Ceremony

Our last show of the entire weekend was Opening Ceremony, a show that always presents a fun, edgy collection. The focus of the makeup was the eyes, which had a high-gloss sheen, and the cheeks were dusted in ‘Radiant Orchid’ by Sephora.

The nails were meant to reflect the geometric inspiration of the clothes in the collection. Lead manicurist Naomi Yasuda created a side-swept design using Essie Aruba Blue

But the real highlight of the show was the chocolate dripping from the white walls behind the runway. And did we mention they served white hot chocolate before and after the show? Yum…
