Emails and paperless invitations are my go-to greetings most months of the year. But when it comes to the holiday season, I know that nothing compares to the feeling of opening a handwritten message from a loved one. Sending a holiday card in the mail is one of my favorite ways to spread the holiday cheer. And every December I look forward to finding the perfect card for person on my list. Also, if you are looking for an inexpensive item to hand out to your whole office, sorority, or book club, a heartfelt message on a beautiful card goes a long way.
I have been seeing adorable holiday cards everywhere I look lately, so I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorites. From vintage-inspired designs to luxurious letterpress, there are so many options to choose from.
1. happy holidays card
This vintage inspired design makes me feel like cozying up in a cabin in the woods. Major bonus: It’s made out of recycled paper, making this greeting card eco-friendly.
2. ‘tis the season card
I’m a big fan of all of Rifle Paper Co.’s handpainted designs. This festive floral card is no exception.
3. chalkboard holiday card
This black and white chalkboard greeting is cheerful and timeless.
4. watercolor mistletoe holiday card
A mistletoe greeting sends a sweet and subtle message to your significant other or crush.
5. holiday cheer card
These cheerful gold polka dots remind me of the DIY wall décor that my editorial team created. Love!
6. california cheer card
A California Christmas may not have icicles and snowflakes, but there’s still nowhere else I’d rather spend my holiday season.
7. joyeux noel card
This French greeting is hand-lettered and then letterpress printed on the thickest, most luxurious paper. I love the clean, gorgeous design.
8. raspberry holiday card
A pink and gold greeting card is feminine and festive all at once.
9. new years tiara card
This pretty New Year design is perfect for all of your friends and loved ones, no matter what other holidays they celebrate.
10. tartan deer print
Instead of sending a holiday card this season, why not surprise your friends with an oversized greeting in the form of this adorable deer print? It’s a gift and a greeting, all in one.
