Have any of you heard of #FairTuesday? #FairTuesday is an ethical shopping movement that was started in response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The goal of #FairTuesday is to inspire conscious consumerism and show how an everyday purchase can change the lives of the community behind that product. #FairTuesday features ethical, eco-friendly, and fair trade brands, all dedicated to creating positive, sustainable change—the same principles my new shop, The Little Market, was founded on.
I love sale shopping as much as the next girl, but it’s also so important to make sure that workers who make the products we buy are being treated equitably and being paid fair wages. So, to celebrate #FairTuesday, I’m co-hosting a Pinterest contest along with my bestie Hannah (co-founder of The Little Market) and our good friend Haylie Duff. You can pin your wish list of ethical items for a chance to win a basket of fair trade goodies for the holidays. Check out all the details about this exciting contest on The Little Market’s website and take a peek at our #FairTuesday Pinterest board for some gift giving inspiration, too.
