None of this my mom’s taste, but they are still nice (albeit expensive) gift ideas! http://dreamliveandrepeat.blogspot.com/

  • Monica_in_Heels

I don’t have a gift idea but I’ve been wanting to do a blog entry featuring my mom for Mother’s Day! Ill give her a makeover or something :)

  • Stephanie

That scarf is to die for!

  • Marie Fournier

I’ll give her some flowers & I don’t know what else, maybe a jewellery like earring !

  • KimS

And how about for people who have a budget?

  • Kaia Bartling

Yeah I agree with the post below … These gifts are great but not everybody has an extra 600 dollars laying around for Mother’s Day?

  • My Style Diary

Great gifts, but a bit too much over my budget.. I got my mom some garden supplies which I know she will love. :)

  • Kelly

Great gifts if you have the money :) I’m thinking of doing a brunch for mom & some flowers

  • Brenna Gray

These are way too much money and not really my mothers style. These are much more something I would wear or want.

  • Amy Breckenridge

hi ladies – check out my mother’s day gift guide with all items under $100!

  • Katie

I think my mom would kill me if I spent $1500 on her Mother’s Day gift. It would have been nice to see some more budget-friendly or homemade options.

  • Tayla-Lauren

I would recommend the blue tiffany pouch I love mine it’s so easy to grab to go anywhere.
I’m getting my mum the new Ricky Martin cd and a spa package including a facial, electrical facial, eye lash/eye brow tint +wax. Back massage, manicure so that she feels as beautiful as she is!

  • Dazzlerama24

Thank you!

  • Michelle Nicola

Cute stuff…but these grits cost too much money. I like the DIY ideas because they are budget friendly, but if we don’t have time to craft, I would like reading about cost conscious gifts to buy.

  • Rachel

    Love those sunglasses.

  • Juliana_82

All those gifts are hideously expensive! $160 for pajamas??!! My momma raised me better than that!

  • Ashley Rizzardo

I think these ideas are great–I would definitely buy them for myself. But my mother probably wouldn’t put these gifts to much use. This year I think I am going to buy her a rose bush to plant.

  • Rachel Trampel

Love that xo necklace :) MY mom would love it!

  • Deanne Castro

    Love those sunnies!

As much as I love my mom and those pretty ideas, I could never spend that much. My mom would FREAK if I did. She would never want me to spend that much on her.

  • Tonya G

My mother and I would both freak if our children bought us gifts that were so expensive. I love my mother very much; and would give her anything if I could. I wish you could have put stuff up that was in a price range so that everyone could afford them.I saw you have the DIY, but it would also have been great to see presents that I could have purchased.

  • Christina Sahagun

I agree with other posts these gifts are ridiculously expensive. I ♡ you LC but we don’t all have ur kinda income. Next time can u include some reasonable gifts.

  • Claudia Berry

I am a mom and I’d be appalled if my family spent that much on Mother’s Day. These gifts are ridiculously expensive. And, but those pajamas being for a “”young mom””? Oh sorry, I guess my 41-year-old a** is too old for them, huh? Also, you don’t have a few weeks to get gifts, you have TEN DAYS. From May 2 to May 12. Learn to count, please, and learn not to offend your audience with ridiculous suggestions and dumb copy.

  • Joann

HAHA.. yeah. Way too expensive. I am working full time and paying for tuition.. nice.

  • AnselSf

There’s no need to be rude, Claudia! This is a sponsored post, they just reposted what was sent.
And Happy Mother’s Day in advance!

    Huge hugs.

  • AnselSf

I really like the sunglasses, the jewelry box and the purse. But that last one, I’d like to keep! Hahaha.

  • Claudia Berry

What is rude, pointing out they can’t add from 2 – 12 or saying that calling something a gift for a “”young mom”” is rude? Please. Sponsored post or not, this site is still responsible for its content. No need for hugs, thanks!

  • AnselSf

Umm, your “”41 year old a** ?””, “”Learn to count””, “”ridiculous suggestions and dumb copy””. There is a way to saying that all without being offensive or insulting.
And it’s okay if you don’t want my hugs, I guess I’ll just embrace happy people, like myself with a better energy and who know how to appreciate the silver linings!
    Have a good life.

I’ve loved reading the various posts that have breezed through my inbox since I joined the LC community, but I feel a little confused after reading this post. The optimistic tidbit about “”10 perfect gifts (for every budget!)”” left me scratching my head (in a very ladylike fashion, of course) and wondering who defined “”every budget.””

Whomever it was neglected, I suppose, to factor in the average college student struggling to graduate debt-free, the single-income, blue-collar families, and even the upper middle-class fashionista who feels a little queasy at the thought of paying some of the suggested prices of the products displayed here. Now, I did note that the least expensive item in the list, the “”Everything but Water”” pareo, was only $64 and is fairly reasonable (all things considered), but that doesn’t negate the fact that most of these items are a little – shall we say – pricey?

Even for a girl who loves her mom very much and would give the world to make her happy – I’m sorry. My checkbook – and VISA – and wallet – and my financial security – are swallowing loudly and shaking their heads.

Perhaps a gifts-under-$50 follow-up? I appreciate the sentiment behind this post, and would simply encourage LC.com to actually consider *every budget.* Thanks!

  • Dazzlerama24
