This is the DELICIOUS frosting that goes on the brown butter pumpkin cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 cups confectioner's sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

  1. beat butter and cream cheese with a mixer on medium-high until fluffy, 2-3 minutes
  2. reduce speed to low
  3. add sugar, 1 cup at a time, and then add cinnamon and vanilla
  4. mix until smooth
