I have long thick hair as well and whenever I'm in a rush I usually put it up in a bun. Try a ballerina bun and accessorize with a scarf!

It really depends on your hair type. If straight, u can do about anything! Putting your hair "half up half down" as some call it or "sides back" is cute and I do it a lot. I think all types of braids are in right now also. If your hair is wavy/curly then I would say a cute high pony tail with a bow or a messy bun. Good luck to you and I hope you find one that suits you well! :)

I was definitely also going to say sock bun, it's my "go-to" when I am running late for work. You can go on YouTube to get tutorials, and there are quite a few that are "hair-type specific".

You can do the classic braid on the one side(as Lauren did) :) http://alltimeclas-chic.blogspot.gr/

Try a 5 strand braid (see YouTube!) or a fishtail!

I have thick curly hair too - sometimes I wash it at night, comb through and spray lots of leave in condition, then sleep with it still damp, but in a top knot - creates really shiny tousled waves the next day when you shake it out!

Hope that helps :-)

PS half-up, half down style is also a goodie! Leave your hair curly and back comb around the crown, before pinning back the top part of the hair, super easy and super chic :)

Everyone had some hairstyles recommendations for your hair. When I don't use the straightener since I have thick,wavy/curly hair, I go for the sock bun (without the sock bun). It can be done either polished or a bit messy. It's such a quick hairstyle to do in less than 5 minutes. Also the half down hairstyle is great. I use a bit of serum to keep my hair not frizzy.

I personally don't like wearing my hair up but with a few tricks you can make wearing your hair down just as easy, one way is to spray mousse and heat protectant in your hair so that it will not ruin your hair cuticle. Then you can take either a really good quality curling iron or a straightner and create perfect curls!

You could do a rope bun, it's so easy and it's cute! if you're not sure how there are lots of videos on YouTube to help you:)
