What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?

The best advice I got was from my mom. It was guys are like Dixie cups each one is different

With my current situations this what I always go by: Don't give up when hard times hit, fight through them.

I've been told I give good advice, so I'm doing a Q&A post on my blog in December, to include advice-giving on common girl problems... sometimes an impartial person gives the best advice (much like Lauren on her Ask Lauren posts!)
