I am horrible at eating at correct times, esp. with my schedule! So in class i always try to have something to eat, too bad i bought it 5- 10 mintues prior at the student union, and they are usually really sweet or salty , I need help finding something to calm my hunger and not be so damaging to my diet! ideas? hopefully something that requires little to prep work.

Why not bring in a little ziplock bag veggies (baby carrots etc.). Although I don't know if you like to eat veggies. But usually, a fruit bar or multi grain bars are healthy enough. For a little prep work before getting to school, a small container of finger foods, that don't need to be refrigerated. Hope this helps. Check out Pinterest.com they have super cute ideas on how to eat-on-the-go.

Hope this helps!

Try getting fruit or diet bars. I like the special K bars.

you just need to think ahead a little bit, like Myrrah said. A little bag of celery or carrots, or some grapes or almonds can be packed ahead and will last all day. If you just have to get something from the union, look out for a cup of yogurt or some trail mix, or even whole grain cereal (you can just eat it dry).
And my student union used to sell apples and oranges, and people used to always eat those in class, which I never understood because they can get messy, but I guess you would just need to bring a napkin.
