Tripping: Quickie Getaway Essentials
Summer is just about here and with it comes spontaneous weekend getaways and quickie vacations. While the basics of what to pack for a weekend getaway are obvious (clothes, makeup, toiletries), there are a few additional tired and true things that I always stow away for last minute weekend jaunts... Whether you're planning a local staycation or quick visit out to the desert, these are my must-have items for an eleventh hour escape:
- Sunglasses
- Camera (paired with a chic strap, of course)
- A really good book
- Flip flops
- Big floppy hat
- Swimsuit
- Swimwear cover-up
- Sunscreen
- Lip balm with SPF
- Tote bag
- iPhone + phone charger
- Clear nail polish
- Aloe Vera (in case of sunburn)
- Oversize towel
- iPod + iPod speakers

I'm headed to Maryland to see my guy best friend Luis. Hes lonely up there by himself.
Hopefully, me and my best friend Rachel we will take a train and go somewhere for fun. :)

Pros:
*it dries very quickly.
*you can fold it very small or use it as a swimwear cover up.
*the sand doesn't stick on it.
*it doesn't weigh
*it dries you better than the towell

THe Boyfriend and I will be going on a cruise this summer in the Mediterranean, and then we'll spend about two weeks in Dubai.
Obviously, this will not be a quickie getaway! But I like your list of things to pack, this will help me to get organized when I start planning my packing! :-)
