Style Guide: Birthday Outfits
According to Coco Chanel, “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” I couldn’t agree more—especially when a birthday is in the mix. I think a lot of women lose sight of this notion when it comes time to get dressed for a big event, such as a birthday. (Think down-to-here tops and up-to-there mini skirts.) Personally, I prefer looks that are a bit more modest, but fashion forward and fun. Seeing as my birthday is just a few days away, I thought it would be nice to share a few of my favorite tips and outfit inspirations for birthday dressing… Click through the slideshow to check them out!

It was just my 23rd birthday last week and I actually used some of these tips from this, I wore a shimmery metallic little party dress with some pops of color with my necklace and bracelet for a playful touch.

Very blurry :( Blue lace dress from Nordstrom and coral belt from Forever 21. I had on multicolor wedges from Target as well. This was my favorite birthday outfit.

My friend & I on her 23rd birthday. I'm wearing leather leggings from Urban Outfitters, a black lace bandeau from Francesca's and a sheer nude top with open back from Francesca's as well. I was also wearing Madden Girl tribal print wedges, which unfortunately didn't make the picture.
