Polished: Go For the Gold!
When packing for a trip and condensing your beauty products into one small makeup bag, only certain items make the cut. Nail polish and lipstick options often fall to the side as foundations and hair spray take priority. This all makes sense, except if you are anything like me and you feel strongly about your polish color coordinating with your look. Sadly polish changes aren't always an option on the road (anyone who has had a nail polish bottle break in their luggage knows what I'm talking about!). That's where gold polish comes in. It's my favorite dressed up neutral. A muted gold is a great alternative to a pale pink or nude polish (and a little more exciting). So day or night... Go for the gold!

Love the idea! Are there any gold colors you (all) would recommend?! I am definitely going to be sure to grab gold nail polish the next time I'm at HEB!

I use the OPI for Sephora "Only Gold For Me Top Coat" but I also use it just as my nailpolish and not a topcoat. It comes out looking just like the one in the picture. I get a lot of compliments on it, and was happy to see this post with similar looking nails! It's really perfect.

I read this and thought it was a great idea, so I went to Sephora & got the Only Gold For Me polish. It says it's a top coat but I used it on my toes and turned out great! You could also put it on top of any color & it would look great too!

I love the idea of gold nail polish but I am having difficulty finding a good one. Everything i seem to find has too much of a yellow tint, anyone have recommendations for a good muted gold polish?

I love metallic polish, like metallic black or silver. These are matching with most of my outfits.

Wow that's a really great color in the picture. Anyone know which polish it is? Or if it's a regular metallic polish with accents added on top?

question: in the picture, is that nude nail polish with gold flakes, and i guess clear coat on top?!?

I love a soft pink or a nude that coordinates with all outfits. Its always good to go ahead and do your nails before a trip, that matches all your outifts.

So funny because i just recently bought some gold nail polish from sally hansen called "guilty pleasure" and love it!!!

In such situations I take with me only one nail polish and it is definately in any nude colour....- it's easy to refresh it on the ends for example)) I like Lancome nail polish because it lasts for 6 days at least!!
