Photo Diary: Dog Days of Summer
It's hard to believe that the summer is already winding down. Labor Day is right around the corner, which marks the seasonal shift to fall (in my book). In a last ditch effort to squeeze in some bits of summery fun, I've been making the most of these last few (hot!) weeks of summer. Whether I'm sitting poolside enjoying a cocktail, relaxing out on the open seas, fishing, or baking something sweet, these final summer days have been entirely relaxing and entirely satisfying... Here's a little peek into what I've been up to:

9 hours of fishing and this is all I caught :-(

But I would kill for some time in LA.
In Amsterdam it rains a lot, so I'm really jealous of the people in hot countries.

Been going to the beach a LOT! Walking, meditate ing......love being in the ocean..very healing...seafood restaurants are the best here...in Florida! Love my frozen Mango Margaritas! YUM......headed to the beach on Labor Day!

this summer has been a bit uneventful for me because i had to have hip surgery and i have been recovering. luckily, my awesome friends have been coming over my house and keeping me company because i can not travel and go out. i have been doing a lot of crafts to keep myself occupied and i have been creating new designs for my etsy shop (: www.pulltabexpressions09.etsy.com all eco/recycled/upcycled handcrafted accessories

I have still (or only) two weeks until school will start again but for now I am having a One Tree Hill re-run marathon because this is the perfect serie to get in to the right school feeling again. Moreover, I enjoy the days with our two dogs and try to catch the last sunny days. Plus, I have to go shopping for the new school year and have to prepare for school.
But I am keeping everything as slowly as possible, the stress will start soon enough -.-

Oh my gosh, I love your mom's text.. my kinda mom! :) And cute pic of you fishing. I am soaking up the last bit of summer too! Lots of time spent on the beach and outdoors. Not ready for fall to be here already!

Lately I have been enoying going on evening runs on these late summer evenings. Sometimes if I am lucky I see deer getting a drink of water from the pond by my house.
