I've had my fair share of trips and travels during which I've been stranded with chipped nails and peeling polish. Chipping a nail on day two of a seven-day vacay can really put a damper on your mani-morale. To avoid said situations, I always travel with a few pre-packaged nail polish remover wipes and a box of Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips. The strips are easy to apply, require zero dry time and you don't have to stress over the polish bottle breaking or spilling in your bag. Personally I have found that the sparkly strips are especially chip resistant (I prefer the gold).
Have you tried Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips?

LOVE! Great design for spirng since the base color is a pinky-nude hue. Now I have to teach my boyfriend how to do nail art so he can help...!

I LOVE Sally Hansen Salon Effects! I really like the neon pink one (Cry Baby) and the glitter ones. I definitly reccomend them! The only thing I would say is that it's very damaging to your nails (like any other nail polishes) so only use it once in a while. Great idea for vacay!

I was just going to look up more info on these, when I saw your post! I can always count on you to answer my questions before I realize I have them hehe. I was wondering if you have any advice for applying these properly. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm also concerned about how to remove them. Once you want to change, how do you get them off?

I'm in love with these leopard nails! Sooo freaking cute! I really need to try the nail strips. When I paint my nails the polish ends up chipping within 2 or 3 days, it's very frustrating. I'd like to see how much time I could get with the strips.

Thanks for the tip Lauren, I'll be up for a one-week-trip to London in march (won't have the time for manicure there) so I'll definitely try those.

I've always wanted to try those.. I've been a bit skeptic since they aren't exactly the cheap way to go and for some reason I can't get the polish to last longer than 2 days without chipping.

i tried the sephora ones, they are easy to use and really fun, everybody think it's a normal nail polish

I tried the lace strips with a clear coat to seal. Lasted for about 2 weeks. Note to all...as soon as u open the sealed pack u must use them or they will dry up and have been wasted. Had to learn that the hard way. I want to buy the black with gold glitter and the white love script next! -
have always been curious about these! thank you for the insight :)

This is such a fabulous idea, especially if I'm I hurry! I can NEVER paint my nails without at least getting 1 smudge (if not more) on my nails, it's highly frustrating! This is a great alternative! Thanks Lauren :)

I actually love them. I tried two of them because I'm not a stedy hand when it comes to do my nails so when I want something more than just one color I put these on. they are awesome :)

I just put on the Sally Hanson stripes, but I don't know if I did it right because they came off really quickly.
