Goals for 2013 for me are to become a fit mama! My life is hectic and disorganized right now with being a full time mom, student and employee. I find a lot of excuses to not stay fit and eat healthy. My goal is to quit the excuses and become the fit, healthy mama I need to be to support my family!
Happy wife, happy life!

Unfortunately, I've packed on quite a few lb's over the holiday's & to be quite honest I wasn't in the best shape of my life before hand - my fitness goal this year is to get back into shape with the help of exercise & a clean diet. My second goal would be to stay in shape; 'Healthiness is happiness.'
I recently started the LC Bikini boot camp, Here's to that!

I don't tweet much but when I do it's very boring unimportant things... -
In 2013 I plan to really take my goal seriously and make it a lifestyle not just a few month goal. I was inspired by this because of my mom, she's always struggled with weight and was never motivated to go exercise but a year and a half ago she decided to turn her life around and correct her eating habits and exercise habits completely to make a healther lifestyle for her self. She has lost 105 pounds in a year and a half which is incredible! But now I feel as though I picked up her old habits and we switched roles. I'm the one who dreds going to the gym ", she has to drag me there and im pretty bad on what I eat, at this point my mom can out do me when it comes to working out and that needs to change. Now if she can make such a huge lifestyle change completely like that then i know i can, she is my inspiration. For 2013 I play to cut out all soda completely, only have fast food 2 times a month, and change my eating all together to veggies, meat, organic, and low fat foods. I just started doing yoga 3 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and i even got motivated to do classes at 5:30am. Also on Tuesdays I plan to go on a hike and on thursdays i plan to take a kickboxing class. I want to work out 6 days a week but make sure to mixed it up so it stays enjoyable and I remain motivated. I want to make my eating habits and workout habits just like my moms permanently and get to where I can out door her in the gym when it comes to cardio and do more sets when it comes to workouts, I should be able to out do her not her out do me! So far I have started to make changes and I'm already starting to see progress and I feel way more energized and healthy, my body is slowly getting to where it use to be. I know this because my gym cloths are starting to no longer fit so that's a good sign :)

My fitness goal for this year is to go back to running for a D1 university again. A couple years ago I had a really horrible personal thing happen to me. Running Cross country and Track was my life before that. After that my life became nothing and was mostly meeting with different therapists. I've taken a couple years to gain my confidence again and I've gotten back into shape. I was once number 3 in the state of Texas in high school. I want to get back to being great again and it'll take a ton of hard work, but I'm ready to be back on top. I won't get there automatically but I'll work harder than anyone else to get there.

My 2013 goals for fitness are not really fitness goal, it is a "lifestyle Change":
My "lifestyle Change" includes:
1) eating right and healthier! because everyone knows looking good is 70% nutrition and 30% working out!
Healthier food that I want to incorporate more include, acai, a lot of fruit and veggies, and the quinoa that has been a recent post on LC's blog :)
2) keep to that working out plan! ahhahaha
I found a great treadmill running work out plan on pinterest (because we all know how boring it is to run on the tread mill). The workout plan is that you do 5 reps of this cycle: starting on lvl 5 run 1 minute, lvl 5.5 1 minutes, lvl 6 1 min, lvl 6.5 1 min, lvl 7 1 min, lvl 7.5 1 min, lvl 8 1 min, then lvl 4.5 for 2 minutes and repeat cycle 5 times! Its freakishly tiring so I am trying to build up the endurance to get to 5 times! Once I do that I am going to alter the work out to 1.5 minutes and so on! I plan to do this 3 times a week, and do toning exercises the other 2 days, and weekends are my cheat days to eat whatever I want because I am a big FOODIE :) ( that is why I need all the new workout gear ;) )
3) Lastly, DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER AND GREEN TEA :)
Thank you for inspiring so much with this blog! You guys truly are an amazing team and are the highlight of my day to read:) Pick me Please, Or not. I know someone who is equally as deserving can use these products as well!!
Love,
Claudia Lui =)

Fitness Goals for 2013- Relax, enjoy life, radiate health...happiness...and acceptance from the inside FIRST. Focus on who I am, what I can change about myself...and accept things I cannot. Health and Happiness come before Thin this year!

My fitness goal is to run a half marathon in may. I have already been running four days a week this year to train.

My main goal this year is to reduce my mid section. I have always had a much smaller waist than my hips but in the past two years that has changed and now I need to change it back. My number one goal is to reduce the stress that has invaded my life, then I want to spend more time walking, and more time doing exercises with my daughter (esp on the kinect) -
This year is all about shaping and maintaining. With the Nike FuelBand I've been able to monitor my daily activity and gauge my movement. My body style is athletic/hourglass shaped and standing around 5' 3" leaves a small margin for weight gain as it's quickly noticeable. I've also adopted a habit for reading nutrition labels and being conscious of what's entering my body. This year I'm not obsessing on being a size 2, but focusing on being toned, maintaining my weight, and feeling healthier.
Accountability is now present through a digital fitness monitor and companionship at the gym. Friends are my best source for pushing through a workout and staying motivated to reach wellness goals!

I want to lose weight and work out at least two hours every day and eat more fruits and vegetables -
I was thinking of all the things I could tell you about my life and hardships and why these gifts would be awesome to win but then I thought about how everyone has hardships and most are probably deserving of this giveaway:). So I will just tell you that I'm a mother of two beautiful little girls and obviously after having children your body seems to change for the worse. I have been trying to get back into shape for months and I am also following you rules that you provided on a previous post. Sweets were TOUGH but I did it and now fried foods are going bye bye as well. I already feel better inside and out but I still am not as healthy as I want to be so I am stepping up my work out regimen. I do Zumba classes three times a week and work out at home as well but now I'm adding running (in and out of gym). All these items in your giveaway would get put to use I can promise you that:) I would be absolutely ecstatic to win new work out items!!! Good luck to all because this is a great giveaway for all who are trying to get into shape. I just opened a twitter for this giveaway and am following you now. Just what I need another social networking obsession lol. My twitter name is... @QuintonCyndi
Thank you!!!! -
After graduating from college and getting out into the real world, I found less and less time to work out and the pounds started to creep on. Last year I decided it was time to make a change and got into really great shape. With the holidays and a busy start to my year, I slowly started to slip back into my old ways of not working out. On February 1, I reignited my workout routine and plan to stay on it! My goals this year are to eat healthy and maintain my workout schedule, which will keep me feeling great and give me energy throughout my busy days.

My motto for 2013 is to "make it happen". Therefore, when it comes to my fitness goals, I plan to get back the healthy lifestyle I had two years ago. I went through a dark period in my life and lost focus in things I care about. That included exercising and dancing. I am better now and have dedicated myself to "making it happen": getting back in the gym; combining my workouts with cardio, conditioning exercises, weight training, yoga; going back to dance classes. Motivation is the best way to achieve these goals. I plan on participating in my second Spartan race this summer as well as auditioning for a professional dance/cheerleading team. I plan to continue my healthy lifestyle so I can inspire others to do the same.

In 2013 I hope to continue the workout schedule I started in the fall, which is to do a variety of workouts to build not only strength, but dexterity, flexibility, and endurance. I did my first round of P90X in the fall, which ended right before Christmas. I actually gained weight, but I lost a pants size! Because of my results, my attitude changed about fitness and I no longer look at the scale, but rather go by how my clothes are fitting to see if I need to add more intense cardio workouts, like kickboxing. I also hope to add more yoga, pilates, and ballet-inspired workouts into my routine to take the awesome, strong body I've developed and just make it a little more streamlined.

This year is all about new year, new me. I want to get in shape and mainly get abs! A six pack is my goal. I joined a gym and have been going six days a week. Weight training has been a big part of my routine. I want to be strong and healthy. Working full time while going to college make it hard to have time to excersize, but I refuse to let myself make excuses this year!! The biggest challenge is integrating cardio into my routine which I hate. This year I will make a goal to run a mile without stopping for a break!

2013 is a major opportunity to take health and fitness to a whole new level. Being a freshman at UMCP, I hear a lot of gals worrying about the freshman 15. I have always been passionate about fitness and well being. This year at University I am going to inspire girls my age to get active and eat right even though healthy resources are limited and unhealthy habits are so hard to break away from home.
Catch me if you can ;) @carlybodolus -
Here is my story:
Less than a year ago, I was diagnosed with CANCER (cervical & uterine). Unfortunately, I'm so far along that it is not treatable except for removal of the organs. My doctor said he won't have to do this until the cancer progresses. Only way to keep up the battle is eating healthy and exercising. At my last visit, he thought things looked really bad, but turns out my workouts had been helping because the cancer was the same as two months before (thank, God). Keep it up girls and work out. Your health and life may depend on it. Cancer at age 24 can and does happen. So stay healthy! My goal is to prevent my cancer from spreading through a healthy, balanced lifestyle and workouts.
