How to Wear Short Suits for Spring

We've been seeing short suits everywhere lately – on the runways, on the red carpet, and honestly, in our dreams – and it's a sharp, stylish look that we're hoping to channel ourselves for Spring. Designers like Carven, Jill Stuart, and Cacharel all sent sexy short looks down their runways, and celebs like Amanda Seyfried and Michelle Williams have made them look totally effortless – but when it comes to actually purchasing one, it can be hard to achieve the look without breaking the bank. So, why not shake things up (and save money in the process) by mixing and matching your short suit pieces? Not only will you score a trendy look without going breaking the bank, it'll look a little more original and a lot more personal. We've put together five blazer and short combos that look sweet, charming, and undeniably cool – click through to see and shop them now.
Go bright...
How gorgeous is this bright blue blazer? We love how it looks paired with floaty, floral-print shorts.
Rag & Bone 42nd Street Blazer ($450), Chorux Anna Shorts ($165)
Keep it fresh with a white blazer...
Nothing says Spring like a fresh, crisp white blazer – and these longer-cut printed shorts have a bright melon hue that pairs perfectly.
French Connection Cass Cotton Jacket ($238), J.Crew Pebble Print Bermuda Shorts ($70)

Bring out your wild side...
Hot pants and a fierce leopard-print blazer may not be an everyday look – but if you're feeling bold, this is a great alternative look to the LBD.
Tibi Printed Sateen Blazer ($420), Topshop Rib Panel Knickers ($40)
Charm yourself...
We love the schoolboy charm of this piped blazer, and the striped shorts are a cute nod to nautical.
J.Crew Schoolboy Linen Blazer ($185), Markus Lupfer Striped Cotton Shorts ($220)
Keep it chic...
Yellow and navy always make a great color combination, and this blazer-and-short pairing is chic and subtle enough to wear to the office.

Vince Camuto One-Button Blazer ($165), Old Navy Perfect Khaki Shorts ($20)
Which look is your favorite?

Hey, my sister is getting married april 16th and I have to buy a nice outfit in pastels. Together with my little sister we would love to have something matching. Maybe the same dresses but a little different, or...the same fabric, like one is wearing a skirt with a blouse and the other the dress or something like that. What would you suggest? Would you like to make a post about it? I would totally love that!

So cute! I think I would switch the navy & neon and wear that.
So my navy blazer and some neon shorts? Sounds awesome, and I'll put a post up soon.

Well, I recently wore a suit to work that consisted of a jacket and capri shorts, it was pinstriped and looked rather professional. I'm not sure I could take the plunge in my office to go to shorts, but the capris worked and looked great for a Spring/Summer WORK style alternative. I can't wait to share it on my WORK style posts in the coming weeks!
Thanks for the continued style inspiration!

Omg! So i've been contemplating whether or not I should buy a white blazer, and the only reason why I was so hesitant was because I didn't know what to wear it with! Now i now and it's so cute!! I also love that animal print blazer, it's to die for!!
