Eco Chic: My BlueAvocado Collection
I am so excited to finally announce the launch of my XO(eco) collection by BlueAvocado. The collection was so fun to put together. It's always nice to meld function with fashion and I am proud to say that each and every piece achieves just that... In fact, everything is made with Repreve, which comes from recycled bottles. Pretty cool if you ask me. Anyway, I'm especially thrilled about this line because it proves that going eco isn't impossible. By making small changes you can actually do good. For instance, instead of packing your beauty goodies into a single use plastic baggie, you can stow everything away in a reusable, washable bag that's as chic as it is green. This concept extends to almost every aspect of your daily life–packing away purchases into a reusable shopper, using an eco-friendly java sleeve, coffee mug or water bottle...the list goes on.
As a designer, I hope that my choices for this collection raise awareness around the importance of environmental sustainability and green products. Eco-friendly is not a fad–it's the future. And with my new line, you will have some cute eco options to pick from :-) At the end of the day, I encourage you to get inspired to join me in this green adventure by opting to go eco chic. Together we can create the ripples of awareness that can inspire a positive impact on our beautiful oceans and environment of which we will be supporting organizations that focus on ocean recovery efforts through the collection. .

I travel often and these are great!! I added the hot roller bag, the brush bag, and the travel make-up bag to my wish list!! Thanks again Lauren for being so chic and eco-friendly. Its inspiring.

I don't know what was said about the Colorado incident, but I feel like Lauren can't win for losing w/some of you. She was just trying to show that she was sensative to Colorado & thinking of the families. If she hadn't, I'm sure someone would've posted something like, "How can you post this & not post anything about Colorado"...It's haoppend before. I commend Lauren for speaking from her heart.
As for the XO(eco) line, it's so cute! You're really getting me into bird printed stuff!

cassandra adams i dont think there is anything wrong with letting people know youre praying for people who lost someone they love dearly. and in fact im praying for them too. there's nothing wrong with awareness. and to lauren i think your blueavocado collection is adorable. its good to see that youre bringing attention to a good cause.
