Today I'll be showing you how to make a sweet pin-board for your space using old wine corks. This DIY is the perfect project for those of you who are just moving into your first apartment or settling into a desk at your first job. It's a fun and unexpected way to display little notes, reminders, photographs or recipes while recycling discarded corks. Watch the video below to check out this latest project from my Crafty Creations series:
To recap, here's what you will need:
- wine corks
- scissors
- glue gun
- thumb tacks
- ribbon
What do you think about this DIY? I really loved how mine turned out. It kind of reminded me of those wine cork coasters I made last December for my DIY Gift Guide...
Let me know if you're going to give today's craft a try in the comments below.
Happy crafting!
XO Lauren

I just wanted to add that not all the books on my "bookshelf box" were used...the lauren conrad book was one I had bought two of and tried to make a jewelry box with, it didn't work out..but it looks great on this :) and for all those people complaining about this diy..I am actually saving the paper from the books and using it to cover a coffee table :) a diy i seen on mrkate.com

Love this diy.....I noticed you deleted the video to the bookshelf box, it was one of my favorites, despite all the rude comments from people..i found it very crafty and useful...i bought old used books from goodwill and made my own box..i actually made the entire box with books, lol..I kept the front and back on two of my books and made them the sides, then I used a painting canvas for the bottom and the back and also for what the books are actually glued one...heres the link :)

great DIY! I love this idea, it's so cute. I love wine, but I usually write a date and event on most of my corks and store them in a bowl like a displayable wine journal, but for the non-event corks I just leave them blank, hopefully i'll have enough soon to try this.

Super Cute! I had a ton of wine corks after my wedding and I was making a big cork frame board when my son stepped on the glass and broke it :( I had to throw away all of the corks from the project.... Well, good thing my Hubbs and I love wine!
