Throwing parties for family and friends is one of my favorite things to do. I love serving fun hors d'oeuvres, mixing up refreshing cocktails, and making sure my place looks perfectly decorated for the occasion. Today I'll be showing you a fun way to decorate your own home for any gathering throughout the year. This DIY will sweeten the atmosphere for a birthday bash, a baby shower, an engagement party, or really any kind of soiree. It's also a fun way to add flair to your space just for the sake of spicing things up. Watch my newest episode of Crafty Creations below to check it out:
To recap, here's what you will need:
- tulle
- wire
- wire cutters
- scissors
- 4 x 6 piece of cardboard
Just because I used pastel colored tulle in this video doesn't mean you can't customize your craft. Try making black and orange poufs for a Halloween party or mix fall colored tool together for a festive Thanksgiving fête. One of our very own LaurenConrad.com members even created a similar DIY with her pretty tissue paper garlands in shades of blue and green, perfect for a summer beach bash.
How will you personalize your party poufs? Do you have a simple party decor idea to share?
Snap a pic of your decor idea and upload it to the Gallery for a chance to be featured in my next Member Spotlight post. : -)
XO Lauren

It almost looks like you can make these out of shower sponges (you know which I'm talking about).
Super cute though!

This was really cute! You can also make it with yarn as well. Same technique, just different material. :)
