Chic Peek: Being Bouquet-ed
I took this self-portrait during a website shoot. You might have seen the final photo here on the homepage or in a post on TheBeautyDepartment.com. We wanted to do a shot with flowers in my hair and Kristin (my hairstylist), ended up putting an entire bouquet on top of my head. It seemed so silly at the time, but after hearing "just trust me" about twenty times that day, I let her do it and the photo actually turned out to be pretty.
Just thought this would be a fun little Chic Peek blog showing you a little bit of the behind-the-scenes action...
Speaking of flowers in hair, what do you think about the trend? Anyone interested in a flower wreath tutorial?

I love flowers! I used to wear a bobby pin with a little white rose with some glitter on the edges to school everyday! I think I bought it at Dorothy Perkins for £2?? :)

whenever i feel lazy about doing my hair, i make a chic bun and stick a flower in my hair! i love sunflowers!

I love plumerias in hair. I think they look beautiful tucked by the ear. It's one of the Hawaiian trends that I love the most.

A tutorial would be great! Maybe something that incorprates short hair too...mine only comes to about my chin. I seem to quickly run out of things to do to it.

I think flowers are a really good accessory for your hair. In Indian culture, women put flowers in their hair not only for the aesthetics but the scent of the flowers makes your hair smell amazing! Especially jasmine! :) i really think you should do a tutorial on this!

Iluv it!! It looks really nice with my curls and it's an adorable assecoire!! I also love the bow headband they sell at H&M!!
