Chic of the Week: Holly's Red Hot Manicure
One of our biggest inspirations here at LaurenConrad.com is you! So you can imagine how excited we were when we laid eyes upon Holly's super chic, solo sparkle manicure. Let's just say it was love at first click! That's why Holly is our first official Chic of the Week! Each week we will select one ambitious, stylish, amazing member from our community to spotlight in the Chic of the Week banner on our homepage. Fun, right?
We love how Holly transformed a simple manicure into a serious statement. The unexpected sparkle adds a perfectly understated flair that's sure to spice up any ensemble.
After a not-so-in-depth beauty investigation, we figured out two ways you can achieve this look: First, you can use a highly concentrated glitter polish on one nail (the obvious method). Or, if you want to get crafty, apply one coat of clear polish and then sprinkle some craft-grade glitter over it and finally seal it off with a layer of topcoat. Easy as pie. And chic as ever!

amazing! i love the shade of red although its kind of hard to tell in the picture. that shade along with dark greys and burgundy are spotted on women in Paris at the moment. stop by if you want to know what is new in Paris from the eyes of a Canadian :)

I really like this a lot! I like to go very simple when it comes to my nails, so this is definitely something i'd try. It's just enough...not too much and not too plain! I love the glitter, gives it some extra flare :)
