Beauty Note: Peachy Keen
Pastels are having a very fashionable moment this spring, and beauty is no exception to the trend. Peachy pouts and cheeks were all over the Spring 2012 runways with designers like Phillip Lim, Carolina Herrera and Marc Jacobs embracing the feminine and subtle look.
Pretty peach makeup is perfect for sunny spring days and it's subdued enough for the office or classroom. To test the trend try a creamy, peach blush such as NARS' Orgasm blush (What a name, right?) or a fresh lip-gloss like Stila's Peach Lip Glaze. Peach nails are also a great way to go for a pop of flirty color. Personally, I like Essie's A Crewed Interest. It's a luminous shade of peach that's as pretty as it is on-trend.
Peachy makeup is a great look to try if you like to keep your beauty routine minimal or tend to err on the side of subtle, rather than bold. Pair your peach blush or lip with dewy foundation and a sweep of mascara for a perfectly flirty yet feminine finish.

I love that, I feel sometimes it's tough as a blonde haired lighter skin colored woman to wear red lipstick because it makes me look more pale. I think this color would be perfect for my completion!

I'm loving peach-coloured balms and moisturising lipsticks at the moment - MAC's tinted lip conditioner in Fuschia Fix is great, as is Revln's Colourburst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait (the shade Emma Stone wears in their adverts).
Those are my peachy keen recommendations!

I've been using the Orgasm blush everyday for a few months now! Love it! Anyone know the lip color in the picture? I keep trying new things that Lauren recommends, I have a cosmetic obsession!

Positively love this! All over the place, everyone keeps saying "Wear red with everything." Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a good red lipstick. But it just doesn't go with everything, especially with my haircolor. This will be a fab alternative!

I LOVE PEACH!! I'm really lucky that I married a man who had the last name PEACHEY!! :)
I love adding peach all over the eyelid, adding a heavy eyeliner, a couple coats of mascara, and a good eyebrow. It looks fabulous!! :)

Peach is my favorite for make-up, polishes and fashion when spring and summer roll around. It's so soft and femine and if done right can be flattering on anyone! Mint and peach are one of my favorite color combinations!
