Don't we all regret some things we did when we were 16? =P

I would tell my 16 year old self to actually confidently wear what she feels is stylish, instead of just wearing "anything", because ten years later, she will still like the same styles and also dare to wear them. And oh, don't listen to your friends advice and don't buy those ugly boots when you are 17, no matter what Stephanie says.
-
oohh well I would do exactly the opposite of what I was doing I was soo punckish and I would take a better care of my skin
-
I'm 24 and would tell my 16 year old self to wear less make up and be more natural and love the way I look.
-
If I could give my 16 year old self advice it would be to experiment with different shirts and jeans. I would also tell my middle school self to do the same thing and to try to put my hair up more often. The same thing goes for my elementary school self to do the samething.
-
I actually did a really good job at managing my skincare and beauty in my teen years but I would probably advise just to keep my hair simple (and undyed)

Terrified in 10 years that I'm going to look back and regret some of my fashion choices. :-)

I would tell myself to take better care of my skin. I'm 26 now and in 10 years you can damage your skin a lot!

I would tell my 16 year old self to wash her face after school everyday!! The climate in my hometown was always really hot and humid, and my high school was up on a mountain so it would also get windy. There was tons of red dirt that would get blown around and get trapped all over my face and I didn't really start taking care of my skin until my senior year. Just washing my face daily would have made a huge difference!

I just turned 15 haha.
But to my 12 year old me I would say that I had to stop plucking my eyebrows (yes, I did) because the space between my brows was way too big.. :s

I would tell my 16 year old me to grow out your hair and stop cutting it. It looks so much better long. :)

Thank you for this! Pretty younger adults should post more things like this to give sense to young high school kids! Great advice :)
-
Haha I agree with the hair,I did that too!I would tell to my 16year old self to protect my skin by applying sunscreen more often!

OH- also, you looked ah-mazing last night on Watch What Happens Live last night, Lauren! lol You were so lady-like & gracious! I didn't expect any less! ;0)

Beauty Wise- I would tell my 16yr old self to keep up with being physically active... Don't listen to your family about your weight & just appreciate yourself the way you are. I would also give her a high-five for using beauty masks routinely... they seemed to have really played a good role in all the compliments I get about my skin. I would also tell her not to keep dying her hair auburn & doing self hi-lights. I know the box says you can do it yourself & you're creative, but people can tell! lol.

I would say: not believe what everyone tells you!

Beauty-wise, I'd tell myself to wash off ALL that black eyeliner and shadow I piled on every morning - it was not a good look! :-)
I'd also tell myself, like Lauren, to stop over-straightening my hair - it looked awful but I thought it looked great at the time!
-
I´d say, dear 16 year old me, don´t do what you don´t want to and what your friend tells you to do, do what you really love and be with people who are worth it!
-
The intro of the video with the lipstick writing your name is great.
As an advice, i would tell my 16 year old self to have more confidence and think she's beautiful, to go out more and also maybe start wearing day and night cream. Oh and to do more sports.
