Book Club: My LIVE Girls in White Dresses Chat Is Today!

Update:

Thank you to everyone who joined my live book club chat! I had so much fun answering your questions and asking you some of my own. Stay tuned for our next book club read to be announced soon…and I will hold another live chat to go along with it.

XO Lauren

Welcome to our LaurenConrad.com Book Club LIVE online book chat about Jennifer Close’s Girls in White Dresses!

I hope everyone has finished the book by now and enjoyed reading it as much as I did. It was such a fun read, and each chapter reminded me of an episode of a TV show because I felt so connected to the characters.

To get the chat started, begin by answering the question below in the chat room. I will join the chat room at exactly 4pm PST with my answer and will begin taking your questions and feeding you guys more questions too…

Here’s the first question:

Where do you imagine Isabella, Mary, and Lauren will be in five years?

Come back to this post around 4pm PST to join the chat room and get the discussion going with me!

Chat Room Instructions

  1. You will be prompted to create a “username” for the chat room. The username will only be used while the chat is live. If you do not create a username, I will be unable to chat with you.
  2. You may notice a small delay after you submit text to the chat. That’s normal!
  3. Please use be patient and polite when posting your questions. I will do my best to answer as many as possible

Also, if you have any suggestions for our next Book Club, leave them in the comments below!

I think Mary will still be married to her husband and maybe have 1 or 2 more kids by then:)
I think that Isabelle and Harrison will move to Chicago and they will eventually get married and not have any kids and focus on their careers
I think Lauren’s bf will propose to her but they won’t be married

Can’t wait for the next book I’m ready to get started now

Two books I love for the next book club are The Locket and The Sunflower. They are both by Richard Paul Evans. I love these because romance is not the only theme in the story.

“”The Three Weissmans of Westport”” by Cathleen Schine is a great, entertaining and sweet read. I’d recommend it!

The book club is one of my favorite things on LaurenConrad.com! This was the first live chat I was able to participate in & I loved it!

Two possible books for the next read are The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh or MegsAlysia’s suggestion, Lean In: Women, Work & the Will to Lead

    book club suggestion:
On the Wind’s Breath by Lynette McClenaghan. below is a little about it:
Lynette McClenaghan writes with a relaxed style that is easy to read. On the Wind’s Breath would sit nicely with the teen plus reader, with the main focus of the book being the town and the supernatural experiences that Martin, Vanessa and their new journalist friend George find themselves part of. On the Wind’s Breath blends the difficulties found within relationships with that of making new friends. Lynette McClenaghan turns the simple natural event of wind and the devastation nature can cause into a supernatural experience that touches the lives of many and takes the characters on an unexpected journey. Within On the Wind’s Breath Lynette McClenaghan has successfully used the reality of progression within society, life, love and relationships to create mystery and supernatural events.

Here is a book recommendation for our next book club: “”Paris:The Novel”” by Edward Rutherford

If you have a love affair with that city, this book will really bring it to life. It’s a complicated read but it’s sooooo worth it.

“”Painted Girls”” by Cathy Buchanan is also fantastic.
