I would have loved to have lived in the renaissance era only if I had money. I love the big poofy dresses.

    I also the 50’s! so feminine :)

  • Ivonne Badillo

I love everything about the 50’s!!! The makeup, hair, style. I would difinitely want to go back to that time. =)

  • Arelis Nelms

1950’s all the way. I could do the 40’s too. Timeless, classy era’s. Love them both.

  • Melissa Panici

50’s as well! Such a feminine time:) I received your books in the mail on Friday right before I took off to Georgia for your signing! LOVED seeing you again Lauren:)

  • Ashley Rizzardo

Love the look of the ’50s. But the ’80s were pretty cool. Lots of experimentation :)

  • Tiffani Stuart

I totally guessed it! lol And there are a few similarities between the 20’s & 50’s– especially when it comes to hair!

For myself, I love fashion from the 20’s-60’s. I am especially in love with the Mod fashions of the 60’s. The only thing that sucks is that for me, that wasn’t a very great time in African American history… So, I’m not sure I’d actually want to go back in time, lol. But I do love the fashion!

  • Kate Noto

I like the 60’s and 70’s because they used a lot of flowers and soild prints in the clothing

  • Cesie Alvarez
  • Amanda Kretchmer

1950’s is my favorite decade as well! I try to dress in a modernized 50’s way. I can’t get enough of it.

I agree, the 50’s. hands down.

  • Emilie

I think all eras had their benefits and downsides… I don’t try and judge the fashion of one era because from the looks of it – it all comes back one day :)

Hi, I just got your book the ‘Beauty’ and I absolutely love it. It is exactly what I needed! All the chapters are very interesting; how to relax, what to eat…ect. Something simple and for and every day. I love the section about vitamins, it’s something I can refer to on a daily basis.

I also, love the section about hair! This is something that always has been an issue for me, since I was little. So, to use simple, and cheap, tricks at home is very useful.

    Thanks Lauren

  • Katherine Brophy

  • Nathalia

If I had to choose one decade, it would probably be the 1910’s because I loved the way they dressed and styled their hair. Going strictly on appearances of course. Another favourite are the 1810s and of course, the 1950’s and early 60’s. As a kid I always wanted a polished pouf. lol

I love the 1960’s era, which is why I love ModCloth.com they have the perfect outfits that are modern with a hint of 1960’s housewife in them 😉
