Crafty Creations: Washer Bracelets

It’s no secret that I love jewelry. Especially dainty pieces. I love layering delicate baubles like bracelets, necklaces and even rings to keep things interesting. Seeing as this layered look can get pricy when you start to add things up, I thought it would be fun to do a little DIY project to show you how to put together your very own bracelet for layering (or even wearing solo). To kick off my new DIY video series, Crafty Creations, I’ll be showing you how to put together a pretty bracelet to pair with your favorite watch, bangle or other wrist wear. Without further ado, here is my very first crafty creation… Enjoy!

To recap, here’s what you will need:

  • ribbon or tulle
  • washers
  • scissors
  • tape

Are you going to give this DIY a try? Let me know in the comments below!

Also, if you have a Crafty Creations request, leave it in the comments below.

XO Lauren

First time I hear your voice – and you sound so American!! xD Gosh, I feel stupid…

This bracelet looks nice and is easy to remember how to do – excellent! I wanna try one! I just have to find washers… Could you change them for sequins for a ‘glammier’ look? Nah, their holes would be too small…

  • Amanda Bradica

Within ten minutes of watching this I took my younger sisters to get supplies seeming it would be easy for the younger ones to do, and it was! They really enjoyed making them and love wearing them even more !

  • Amanda Smith

so this may be a stupid question, but how should this be tied? I was trying it out and if you tie it tight you can’t get it off without cutting it. I tried to tie it lose and the weight of the washers made it keep turing around. Suggestions?
